Riffa- your kids are soooo cute. Love the pic of the two of them sitting next to each other. Precious

Elrike- bly om te hoor Luwan is nou by playschool. En dis wonderlik dat hy nou gepottytrain is.

Skitterling- Liam is gorgeous sjoe He has the most beautiful eyes. M is also getting so big. Loving the pics of her on FB too. A real little Miss

AFU- Michael is teething quite badly shame. Feel so bad for him. On Wednesday he had such bad fever, I had no choice but to give him a cool bath He seems alot better since yesterday. What teething advice do you 2nd time mommies have? I use calpol and nurofen for babies and prodol for the gums. I also tried the ashtons powder which seems to work.
I bought Michael a bottle of the Vitabiotics WellKID Baby&Infant multivitamin. He doesn't ever really finish a bottle of milk, always leaves about 40ml. He is still on 125ml every 3-5hrs. And altho he is on solids, I just want to make sure he is getting vitamins in. Especially with winter coming up. I know vi-daylin is great but sjoe its so bitter and now that M is older he seals his lips shut LOL or gags. He is still doing really well on solids. Eats cereal in the morning, fruit at lunch and veg for dinner. Surprisingly he loves broccoli&cauliflower and sweet potato too.

Was wondering if any of you know, I know meat is only introduced at 7 months usually. But since paed advised M start solids at 4 months, when do I introduce the meat and also yoghurt? He has tried all fruits & veg and takes very well to them. No allergies or reactions. Don't want to put him on meat when it might just upset his tummy. And when is he allowed fish?

Just to introduce myself to the new mommies! I'm Elrike, 30 years old, 2 kids, Luwan (2.5 years and Edrich, 4 months, born 10 November 2011) I'm a stay-at-home mom!

Edrich is doing great! Still Breastfeeding exclusively. But I can see he want to eat as well! He is looking the food out of our plates! But will wait a bit till he is 6 months!! Started with Luwan when he was about 5 months! I see the clinic sister next week, so I will hear what she says!

I have enrolled Luwan at a playschool! He enjoys it so much!! And I have a little more time on my hands! And he is fully Potty trained, 2 weeks and no more nappies for him!!!

Sorry for not doing personals! Hope you all are well. I'm off to the shops to get Edrich some winter cloths!

Hey there Mommies

WOW! Must admit that I LOVE seeing all the pics that are being posted up!! Your little ones are adorable!!!

Jason is such a cutie pie!! He discovered his feet this week and just cant get enough of them
He now rolls over from his back to his tummy which I'm very impressed with - I was secretly worried that he was too big to do that! My DH was sitting with him today while Jason was busy with tummy time and Jason moved like a worm (put his face into the floor his bum in the air and pushed with his feet) to get to the toy in-front of him. I was SO PROUD of my little man!!!!!!!
I really didn't want to start him on solids too soon but after his 6 week check up the DR recommended putting him on some rice cereal once a day when he was about 3 months old (because he had SUCH and appetite) so that is what we did. But for the last two weeks he has been SOOOOOOOO miserable and trying to grab food out of my hand so we have now upped him to cereal twice a day - which he is loving might I add. It breaks my heart that my little man is growing up so quickly.

He is just always so full of giggles and CONSTANTLY talking - and just LOVES his sister!!!!

I know that I don't post much - but just want to say thank you to all of you who do.
Its really nice to see a group of ladies who encourage each other and who are there to listen when one is just wanting to unload.

How is everyone doing?

Joey- Riley is so cute, absolutely love the last pic of you two smiling Glad he is doing well on the solids. Question, do you think the amber teething necklace has helped Riley much? Michael is really battling with teething but no sign of anything popping. When we saw the paed yesterday and asked about the teething necklace, he just said as a dr there is no medical backing on the necklace LOL and said it looked pretty. But worth a try I guess. Have only heard good things about it.

Bule- Lona is gorgeous, such a cute pic and she looks so attentive too

Tanz- so sorry to hear about all your losses. Its been a terrible year so far for you May God be with you and your family, may you all find a way to heal and deal with what has happened. Our prayers are with you

AFU- Michael is growing so well. Weighs 7.8kg and 70cm. Can't believe how time is flying. The last week he has been so niggly and not himself at all = teething Feel so helpless. Paed says it can take any amount of time before anything pops so we just have to help make it easier for him for now. As much as I know they need pain syrup, I am not in favor of giving it so often even though I do now because I am not sure if there is another option. Is there an alternative?
Michael getting so cute, today everytime he sneezed I would say "bless you" and he would giggle. I have it on my FB for those that are on. If not you can add me "Chantelle Myburgh" he can now roll onto his tummy and prop himself up on his arms. He just hasn't learnt how to roll back so he gets frustrated LOL. He can almost sit completely on his own.
