Been quiet as well, came back from Mauritius and it was fantastic, got to see almost the whole island in two days. Stayed at a fantastic hotel.

Am 27 weeks today, can't wait for little one to come, my friends think I am nuts about not wanting to know about the sex, but hey, it's my baby.

Mummoo congrats on your twin girls! Glad they are doing well:)

Karatemum since this week I'm having lower backache as well....and still a while to go...so good luck to us both on the backache.

ZelF how was foetal assessment scan?

I'm between 24 and 25 weeks now. Meeting with brand new gynae on 28th as old gynae doesnt deliver babies anymore. Worried about the timing as I think this doctor is going on leave 1 January for 2 weeks. THough if I need c-section I assume i'll give birth before then as I have a placenta previa??? Still need to read up on it at this stage and the implications. Scanning lady at foetal assessment scan just told me to take it easy and warned me w.r.t bleeding.

Otherwise feeling great. Have not put on 1gm yet in pregnancy and also not showing yet....BUT I am overweight so that is why...but its so weird as my clothes get looser during pregnancy vs tighter like other women complain. I bought a winter maternity top and decided to wear it last week but i felt so silly as I had no bump in top but reckoned I wanted to at least wear it while it is winter After a meal I look a bit rounder though:)

I am glad you're healthy Karatemum! Don't worry, I was really big with my second pregnancy as well. With this pregnancy my tummy grew quick, but it has been the same size now for a few weeks. At least this madam is very busy, so I'm sure all is well.Only going to the gynae again on the 27th. Ah, that backache is a real killer - thinking of you. Don't worry, you will get things done by the 28th Nov, I am sure .

Mummoo - glad all went well at the scan for you. I'm now 26 weeks! Time is really flying now. My belly has shot out lately and now I feel huge, I was this size at birth with my son! So my back is killing me

I have been giving the 2 dates of somewhere between 28 Nov and 9 Dec baba needs to come out (I'm not allowed to go into full labour as it will be dangerous) so gynae said she'll see where I am closer to the time and we'll go from there!
Getting nervous now, everything seems to be happening at once and the time is flying by I seem to have no time to get things done!

Been missing in action for a week as my sis was down from the UK. chatting here and the Jan/Feb/ March forum.

Went for my 20 week scan at the fetal assessment centre yesterday. Both girls are doing well in terms of growth. I am getting so big - really slowing down now. Feel like I'm 8 months already.

How far are you now?

ZelF - I'm ok thanks - just also can't belive how fast it's going by!

Congrats on the twins Mummoo! Marie, we are due 1 day apart, I'm due 16th, but will have c-section, so will be earlier!

I am halfway today - jippiee!!!!! Can't believe how fast this first 20 weeks passed! Going for fetal assessment scan tomorrow - can't wait!
