How are the other ladies?

I am going for my 16 week gynae appointment tomorrow at 4, can't wait any more! I am feeling really well, and feeling more and more movement every day! Can't wait to confirm the sex, I want to shop!! All the shops like Keedo, Naartjie,Pumpkin Patch and Earth Child have 40-50% sales now, which make it eally affordable, but they don't really have unisex clothes.

Yip, well I am very pleased that doc confirmed a girl, I was truly as happy as i was when my first was a girl ! tears of joy.. I was looking at the monitor and i said, ohhh i can see a boy!! so he said, nope thats a labia hubby and i were both hoping for a boy !

Unfortunatley i had a bit of a scare, as after my 12 week scan, my bloods came back with a low risk chance of downs. So we were refered to a fetal specialist and had to wait 3 weeks to be seen. They did the amnio in which they stick a very thin and very long needle into the womb and take 15 mls out of amniotic fluid to test the genetic matter of the baby to confirm if it has the extra downs chromosome or not~! We have to wait 2 - 3 weeks for the definitive results of this too, and its been 10 days. The reason we decided to take the test is because hubby and i are united in the decision that we wouldnt bring a downs baby into the world knowingly.. so lets hope she is a normal and healthy baby!!!! I am feeling positive

Went for my check up this morning!
18w 4days, and all going well! Due date is still christmas day!

The first thing we saw when the dr started the sonar was two wide open legs and the family jewels! He didnt even have to say a word...

Pregnancy going well, just went on holiday in Limpopo, wish I could go back there again. Like I said, this time, although we are hoping for a girl (at least I am, hubby wants another boy), I don't want to know the sex of the baby.

Morning girls!

Sorry for being so quite... Its been a hectic few weeks.
My husbands younger brother that stays in the uk, called us 3 weeks ago to let us know he's coming for a holiday in two weeks and getting married to a girl we have never met while here.

So we had to organise a wedding in two weeks! While working like crazy all over the limpopo province. I ended up also taking the wedding photos. I decide to not take on any more weddings while pregnant, its just to fisically tiring to take wedding photos.
After doing the photos, i was so happy about my decision. It was hectic!

The pregnancy is going well, very few troubles! Just tired 24 7!
I stll have not started to pick up any weight, but my tommy is rounding and tight.

I am only seeing the gyne on 29 July, six weeks since my 13 week appointment.
Cant wait to see the sex! I want to start painting the nursery! I am going with a vintage theme, old photos and teddies exc. Brown and turqois. I am just waiting for my mom to be in south africa for more that a few days so she can help me. If you guys were wondering who oumavee is???

Shes my mom!

She is working in botswana most of every month and i have only seen her 3 times since i found out im pregnant. I miss her a lot.
So i told her to also join moomie, so she can atleast experience some of the pregnancy with me!
