Good luck on the wait for the amnio, shame that is long Someone else I know had a positive on their downs test and in the end all has come back fine, hoping it's the same for you. (She is due the same time as me)

Morning Girls

We went to the Gynae yesterday,and everything looks great with the little baba! She weighs about 168g now! And definitely a girl!! Gynae switched to 3D, and our oldest boy immediately said:" Mamma, ek sien vir sussie!!"

Karatemum, oooh, must be frustrating to expect to know the sex and then be dissapointed!! good luck to you, I was so so so emotional when they told me it was a girl, and you know, from all the gals we are friends with from our first round of pregnancies back in 2008, there are FIVE preggie ladies at present of which EVERY one of us has a pigeon pair - boy then girl or girl then boy, some of us are pleased about this and some not!! each to their own, I am very happy though!!

Zel F - hopefully you have been to your scan by now and know the sex, looking forward to hearing your news

Hallo Ladies

Went to scan today, baba is doing very well, mom is healthy, steadily picking up weight, no problems, just the normal pregnancy aches, like sore pubic bones, feeling baba move inside me, the greatest thing ever.

Niqi - Wow you have had a busy time! So glad your scan went well and you got to see which you were having. Congrats on team blue!

Euphre - Good luck with the scan and keeping baba's sex a secret - I have to know lol, you're very strong!

Simone - How's the MS going, better I hope - my weight seems to have stopped with any gain, I lost too much before getting preggies so needed to gain in teh beginning but now it's stopped and staying the same - gynae said it's fine until the last trimester where you need to gain some. Baba is growing super well though.

Mandy - Sorry about the scare, goodness not very nice. Congrats on team pink - I hope she is a healthy baba for you

ZelF - I also need to know the sex already! It's making it hard to shop as I am not a fan of the neutral colours, only a small amount of them work for me! Good luck with the scan - let us know how it went

I am 20 weeks already - I can't believe how time is flying by!!

We still have no idea what our baba's gender is! The first time the gynae looked she said she thinks it's a boy then the last time she said no she isn't so sure and baba would not sit still for a second so she couldn't get a good view. But our fetal assessment is next week Friday and so they will be able to see as it's more detailed and longer. So having to wait till then! It's driving me insane, I so want to know. Would love a little girl, but after so many complications and twice in hospital and once rushed to gynae with bleeding I just hope baba is healthy and fine!
