Mummoo - Yup it has gone downhill for sure! I am with Dr Jansen, I was with her husband Dr Olarogun (he is an FS) and then he transfers you over to her closer to the time usually, but because of me going into hospital a few times already then I moved to her as she is closer to me and so easier to get to.
How many weeks are you now? When are you doing your 20 week scan?

Hi Karatemum

My gynae is Carolyn Nel at Constantiaberg. Had my little girl with her in Feb 2009 and she is great. Hospital is ok. She is on leave in August so was going to see me on 2 Sept but also prefers the 20 week scan to be done at the fetal assessment centre so she will only see me in Oct again. Who i your gynae at Kingsbury?

Don't worry - I can't even remember what name I used on Pampers. Its really gone downhill that site hey?

Mummoo - Which gynae are you with? Wow your appointments are far apart! I'm not a fan of Constantiaberg so rather wanted Kingsbury which is closer to me anyhow.

Yup I was on Pampers many moons ago, did you use the same name? Sorry I honestly have gone preggie brain on you now and cannot remember the name at all! I was on there for that pregnancy and a little after my son's birth in March 2009. Then it went all funny and I left :)

Hi ladies

Welcome Marie - I'm also new here.

Karatemum - thanks. I had my scan at 13 weeks at the fetal assessment centre in Kingsbury in July and we were told it was 2 girls :-) Have our next scan on 6th Sept so will confirm it then. I haven't seen my gynae (at Constantiabger) since 8 weeks ago so will be interesting to see if she can confirm it too when I eventually see her in October.

On another note, were you by any chance previously on the Pampers chat forum (for your first pregancy?) I see your son was born at about the same time as my daughter which I why I ask. Your code name "karatemum" is one I seem to recall.

Euphre - It's a pleasure, yup its hard getting LO to get used to not getting picked up, but they do learn slowly. Just remeber if for any reason you end up having a c-section there is no way you can pick him up then, so better to get him used to it now rather than then!

ZelF - That dragonfly theme sounds lovely, nice a different, you must post pics when you have done everything up!

Mandy - So so glad that all is ok with baba

Seems a nice mix of boys and girls on here! :)

Mummoo - Wow twins, nice, my sisters are twins but it's skipped me by the seems. Good luck with everything and welcome to the group. Do you know if they are boys or girls or one of each yet? So sorry to hear of the MS I really hope it gets better for you soon.

Marie - Welcome to the group. I'm in the southern subs so going to Kingsbury, good luck for all of the pregnancy

Hi All

I am also a Januarie 2012 mommy! Am pregnant 19 weeks with baby no.1!! Very excited and anxious at the same time. Know I am expecting a little boy, or should I say big boy, as my Gynie says he is growing fast!! I am fortunate enough not to have had bad morning sickness, only felt nausuas for second month. I have also not picked up weight as yet (weird considering baby is bigger than usual) and tummy only started growing about now.

I am due on 17 Januarie and giving birth at Durbanville Medi-clinic, anyone else that I will see there??

Happy pregnancies to you all!!

Hi Ladies

I'm new here, just joined. Live in Cape Town and 17 weeks pregnant this week...... with twins :-)

Anyone here having twins? OR had twins?

Also have a 2 and half yr old little girl who is slowly making herself very attached to daddy! Guess mommy is not so fun anymore :-(

Been a tough prgnancy so far - very different from my first. My sinus/ hayfever is driving me up the pole and the fatigue is really getting to me. Every time I think my vomitting has subsided, I have a morning like I did today when I threw up all my cereal :-( Been a once a week occurrence and really hoping it would stop.

Anyways, just saying hi and hope you ladies are all ok?
