Simone C - I am really hoping for a girl. This will be our last baby, we only wanted two from the start and would be perfect if the second one was a girl. That would mean shopping from scratch! At least we have all the big things though.

As for morning sickness. Nothing so far. Just tiredness! More bloating around my stomach and swollen boobies.

We told my parents on Friday night and they were very happy for us. We also told my sister, but she gave us the reaction we thought we would get, see my sister has one little girl, and struggled for 9 years to have her, and now wants anther one and is still struggling. In not so many word the Specialist told her that she might just have to be happy with just one.

I am still beyond happy for this little monster growing in me. Can't wait for my first scan in only a week!

Mandy how are you feeling today?

I love that I feel movement so early...as when I get worried I put my cold hands on my tummy and baby ALWAYS reacts!

Mandy....I am in two minds about knowing the sex and not knowing. We are not hoping for either sex...we have the girl we wanted so on that front we should be able to hold out on the sex....BUT for shower purposes I'd really like decor one way or another....clothing...one way or another. With a girl I have TONS of clothes already...a boy...shopping from scratch. We'll see how this unfolds! lol

I am new to this site but it got recommended by a friend.
My due date is 10th December, so 13 weeks along & just found out we having a girl! So happy with this news.
It has been an easy pregnancy so far with no morning sickness. Still no baby bump either. Would love to hear from other mommies-to-be due about the same date.

Mandy - thanks for all the advice. NO morning sickness, only things is bloating, a lot, sore boobies and a bit tired but nothing like the first pregnancy.

So ladies I am bursting to tell everyone about the pregnancy. We have decided to tell my parents tonight. Then we will wait till the first scan on the 14th before telling other people. By the way I told the take away lady the other day because I thought I was going to burst!!!!

Maureen, nope I dont think the vits can harm, i think they dont encourage it as it causes extra morning sickness symptoms in the beginning so if you can handle it, carry on!

had another scan yesterday and everything is looking good. Due date is 2 Jan so my ticker is one day ahead. Oh well....

Mandy - thank you for the welcome. I started taking the folica acid yesterday morning. Do you think taking the maternity vitamins already can have a bad effect?

I am pretty much still feeling great. In the afternoons I do get a bit tired though. Boobs are swollen and a bit sore every now and again, also had a bit of a headache yesterday afternoon. As for the tummy, it is really bloated, it doesn't even go down! I am wearing baggy cloths at the moment in an attempt to hide it but people are already looking at me funny.
