Laurakim, Nathan must have just decided he wanted out

I guess there was a reason, but no Dr can really say. They say it could be due to some kind of infection and baby is just better off out. He was only on respirator for 1st night and then normal room air from there - some days a bit of oxygen. He had to stay in NNICU for 23 days - the longest time ever. He actually came home on Christmas Eve - probably a little early, but the Dr knew I knew what I was doing and we were better off at home (breastfeeding, other child/baby at home etc). I had a thrombosis afterwards, so it was hectic days for me with not being well, and having a 14 month old at home! But you get through it and it doesnt matter anymore, although at the time it seems like forever. I saw my gynae at 32 weeks and everything was fine, I never had a days concern. I did however only find out I was pregnant at 18 weeks. I never for one moment doubted he would be ok, he just needed to catch up a bit. He is still probably a bit behind, but I am not sure how much, defnitely not 8 weeks behind. Its hard to compare and I didnt compare with my little girl either. We'll meet next thursday at the Pta meet!
