At how many weeks did you give birth?

Sarah - 39 weeks exactly - she was born at 11h11 on 09-09-09 (all own doing) and my gynae check up appointment was for 11h00 (I was also born a week early and at the exact time of my mom's gynae appointment!!!). About 1 hour of strong pain - nothing unbearable, just intense.

Nathan - well - 33 weeks - waters broke and although I was having contractions, and Dr said I could try natural - he was lying transverse breech so there was no ways - emergency c-sec later the day and the Dr said it was the most difficult delivery he had that whole year, little monkey pushed his arms out when the Dr cut so the Dr battled to get "a hold" on him! A terrible experience in all. I like the term "surgically removed" - thanks Julz and Joli - thats exactly how it felt - now I have a word for it. For weeks and months I said it was the worst day of my life, but it wasnt in fact, my son was born and he is perfect!

Nicole - how is that for timing!

Started losing mucus plug at 37 weeks, then at 38 weeks and 3 days I gave birth, had a bloody show at 2:00 am Friday morning and by 13:25 my little girl arrived.

Natural birth

41 and a half weeks. 11 days after my due date I had an emergency c-section.

1st born at 34 weeks and 6 days, waters broke. Natural birth 6 hours after waters broke. No warning signs, but placenta was calcified a lot.

2nd born at 38 weeks, after induction. The second doesn't necessarily also come early if the 1st was early (as I learned the hard way...).

I went into labour at 39 weeks. Waters broke and my boy was born 16 hours later.

Kayla - 8 days before her due date - natural birth.

Megan - 3 days before her due date - natural birth.

Callum - was surgical removed (thx Julz for the wording) at 32 weeks and 3 days. Waters broke, I was not dilating and he went into distress.

exactly 40 weeks - due date was the 25th November. waters broke 24th at 11pm, my LB was born on the 25th at 08:15am. I only started getting contractions at 03:00am.
