Laurakim - you don't want your baby to arrive early, even if he / she turns out OK. It was heartbreaking to leave Callum in NICU and to come home without a baby. And then I never got milk either and had to take medication - I would pump for an hour at a time and got like 20ml out. And then you have to drive up and down to NICU to go visit and take milk and I had other kids at home as well. Callum did well and he is fine now, but there were babies there with him who did not do so well - you just never know. Callum is now nearly 4 months old, but he is like a 2 month old, only smiled at 11 weeks. And then off course you will get lots of people talking behind your back for the reason your baby came early. Here's a pic of Callum in NICU.
Also just wanted to say - Kayla came 8 days before her due date - she weight 2.6kg. Callum came 8 weeks before and was 2.1kg so he was big! When I was pregnant with Megan I thought she would come like 2 weeks early since Kayla was 8 days early, so that last week was torture! Just wanted her out he he. And then she arrived on 31 Dec - just in time for the new year.
Mommy N - your daughter's b/day is so cool hey! I had a friend who was pregnant and her daughter was due August 2008. She she wanted her daughter to be born on 080/08/08 and begged the gynae to induce which he did so the whole day she was in labour and then they eventually did a c-section just after midnight and baby was born on 09/08/08
