Hi Ladies,

How are everyone doing? It is awfully quiet here.

Had my appointment on Saturday. Baby is doing really well, edd measured 12 June, on Hubby's bday :P He is super excited about that. The first time I really see him excited about anything wrt the pregnancy. He told everyone he saw..

Baby is still head down, lying fairly low and my placenta showed some signs of calcification. Doctor said he wasn't worried, its just a sign that the placenta is becoming mature. Amniotic fluid still measures fine.

Next appointment is 18 May, can't wait.

Hi Ladies

Tyarah, just to let you know my dates I have are also a week behind what the Doctor says they are. I say I am 32 weeks and he and the scans say I am 33 weeks so go figure. Maybe this is just the season for nice big babies :-)

I was also quite anxious about everything leading up to the birth of my second child. The whole bang shoot really. But it all has a way of working it'self out and feeling normal in the end. I gather you birthed your first child naturally? If so there is no real reason why you should be worried about that this time then either. You are all the more empowered now know what worked/didn't work etc. But yes to answer your questions, your feelings are totally normal and quite expected.

@ AdeleF, so sorry your husband is going through this, it must be very painful? I really hope you can get a date that suits you all esspecially witht he arrival of the baby, this will really make things quite alot more hectic than in necessary. Any chance of going to see another specialist?

I feel absolutely huge today, feel like I doubled in size overnight! Baby is quite busy and my bladder/Ribs and stomach and lungs are taking the brunt of it.

I am busy re-reading an amazing book called The Continuum Concept. I think every new parent should consider reading it. It is extremely eye opening. I attach the link here so that you can have a look at what it's all about.

There is just so much to learn from this short book it's quite unbeleivable.

Hi Ladies,

Tyarah, welcome - it's nice to have you here. How is your pregnancy treating you thus far? Do you know the gender?

2kmm, Glad you are back! It's great that your bags are packed already. I haven't even looked at the hospital list yet.

Currently, it feels like I am growing by the minute. Looking forward to my scan next week to see how baby is doing. Joshua is very comfy on my bladder, normally doesn't bother me too much (getting used to the loo run), but it burns a bit when he starts moving

My husband torn a tendon in his left shoulder. The specialist can only see him on the 9th of May, and it looks like he will definately need an operation, which will put him out of action for another 6 weeks. :S He can't drive to work with one arm, so I don't know what are we going to do. I phoned the receptionist, explained our situation, but these days I don't know, they are just not helpful! Looks like I will sit with a sick husband and a newborn

Hi Celeste, I'm carrying my second one now, 34 weeks but doc. says 35 weeks. I have a 4 yr old boy who is a handful but love him to bits of course, wouldn't have him any other way :)! I can't wait to meet our new addition but I'm nervous about everything, labour and delivery and about having another baby, maybe it's normal.
