Morning ladies

After a weekend of chilling and not fretting about it I have come to the conclusion that I don't want to just leave this thread because of the offensive things that were said to me on Friday. I have loved so much sharing the different journeys with you all and wont let those nasty statements get the better of me.

This is supposed to be a non-judgemental, non abusive place to come. Opinions differ yes and there may be debating which is good but personal attacks are very uncalled for and not really acceptable. We are a diverse group of woman and there are bound to be differences of opinions but at the end of the day we need to realise that there are boundries and remain respectful at all times.

On another note.. AdeleF, I have had issues with the Spur before with my Son and daughters parties and have vowed not to ever have one there again. Last time they forgot to bring sparklers and were so overbooked on parties that the time came around for them to sing to my Daugther and the 2 that pitched to sing looked like they had been dragged their by the managers and could barely get the words out. They were so disinterested.

I have a scan booked on 24th April again. Wondering if baby is still lying Transverse. This has been the case with all three my babies now, wonder why that is.

Yes, time is getting very near now. I even packed my hospital bags over the weekend, can you beleive it?

I have been wondering how MichelleJvv is doing with little Rebecca, She has been on my heart alot.

Goodness Champers 15 days left ... GASP!!! Wow time sure is flying by for all of us. I hope you scan is great!

Firefly, I sure don't know how you find the time to study and still be pregnant, you are really brave. Good luck with your final examinations. Interesting about the Hoowa water and that Porridge.

I had what seemed like a stomach virus this weekend, I have been so badly stopped up that even though it clearly wasnt' normal the relief of the whole situation far outweighed the cons. I had some abdominal cramping which didn't feel normal though that I even started to time them incase they were contractions. All better now though.

Have a lovely day ladies and lets get chatting, this thread has become pretty quiet again over the last few weeks.

Just a quick update on my weekend! Was crazy busy.

Saturday morning had Lené's birthday party. I was seriously ticked of with the SPUR, when they completely overbooked and had 3 other parties at the same time. (And after I confirmed we were the only party!!!)

The afternoon, my mother and the rest of the ladies organized me a surprise baby shower. I got loads of clothes and blankies. I cancelled braai at my parents, because I was so exhausted.

Only to come home and find out that we are getting visitors and they are sleeping over. I felt like divorcing my husband, so upset I was feelling. Luckily, the visitors weren't too taxing and in the end it was not too bad.

But now I am completely exhausted. Thinking of taking a day or two's leave just to rest a teeny tiny bit!

Morning ladies,

I hope everyone is feelling well. I am exhausted after this weekend, but more about that later.

2kmm, I haven't been to any pre-natal classes, think I should try to find one nearby. Thanks for the breastfeeding booklet. I didn't bf with my LG (had no milk), but I am really hoping with some medical intervention, I will be able to this time around.
Wow, the date is getting nearer and nearer! When is your next appointment?
Please don't leave us now, we will miss you too much here.

Anni, thanks for the advice. I am pretty scared of the normal birthing thing. I just keep telling myself that millions have done it before. I will also lookout for the tea
here.

Firefly, How is the studying? You are probably exhausted!

Michelle1975, long time no see stranger! How are you doing?

Champers, good luck with today's appointment. Please let us know how you are doing? Wrt bf, I don't think there is such a thing as a bad mommy for not breastfeeding or for not having a natural birth for that matter.
With my daughter I had a c-section and did not breastfeed, and she is such a lovely child! This time around I hope to go all natural and breastfeed. Let me not say, I don't want to try everything.
I hope you are taking it a bit easier yet. 15 Days? Sjoe, time flies. Thinking of you !

Ok Ladies, Stepping in here, hormones are running wild, and I think all are a bit tetchy. Anni, i know 2KM and she is never deliberately mean. This is meant to be a haven and safe place to discuss, not to attack other women for their choices in life.

Please let this end here, I would hate to star suspending ladies at what is meant to be such a wonderful careing part of your life.

2KM, please dont leave hon. Take a day off, have some chocolate and come back :)

You dont know my story! Thank you ladies for sharing you journey with me to now. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancies to the fullest. Those on my facebook and email please do keep in touch that way. I refuse to be verbally attacked this way and in such an immature petty manner. I have been a member of this forum for a long time and dont appreciate my use of it or extent of it being put under fire. It has been my Haven as Michelle put it and through many a very dark time it and the people on it have been my sanity and saving grace so again I say Anni, YOU DONT KNOW MY STORY!

Wow looks like a bowl of milk is needed.

Seems I missed out on all the drama. Went back but can't seem to pick up any nastiness.

Ladies, hormones run high. Take a breather. Smile and think about the cold glass of wine that's waiting over the finish line
