klk - awh man, baby is gorgeous!!!! Technology is so amazing!

Ms_S - yes it was , wow what an experience!

Baby is doing very well, weighing in at almost 400g. Booked my hospital bed too, so far its 10 December. Got another 4d scan free, will use it around 28 weeks. And baby is definitely still a boy! Now we can start the nursery!

Welcome Clueless...When is your due date again?

Well scan went wonderfully. All organs are fine in perfect working order. Im totally in love. Next scan 3rd September YAY

Here is the scan - s/he looks a bit alienish but has 20 weeks to plump up a bit

Palesa, I agree, it depends on where you're going. I have a friend who travels to North Africa frequently, and she had to have rabies and yellow fever inoculations done. I've read somewhere that you can get the rabies vaccine while pregnant (though its obviously not recommended without reason) not sure about the yellow fever.

Ms_S is right, no malaria meds at all while you're pregnant, that might be your biggest problem.

According to my gynae its safe to fly anywhere, as long as they check you out beforehand. Obviously if you have high blood pressure or they're worried about pre-eclampsia he wont have you fly, but then he can just book you off sick, especially if you're close to due date. How many weeks pg are you? Perhaps it will just be a couple of trips before your delivery!

Ms_S im so excited about the job but because it`s internal and my dear manager rated me low im not getting an out of cycle increase will move as is. haai man i dont know. i have been to so many interviews but the job i got is this one and now theres issues upon issues.

And welcome Clueless! I'm a first timer too, and find this forum very helpful. Hope you will be able to gain as much insight as I have I can only imagine how much you cried (from joy) when you found out you expecting!
