Morning everyone 

My morning started off so well, got to see my vettie today with the hospital ultrasound. The picture quality was awful though, but at least got to see my baba! He grew a lot since my last Scan. Can't wait for my next gynae appointment....20th August can't come quickly enough! 

Thought I was the only one with the love of ice cold drinks, especially in this cold. I crave the icy sensation down my throat. All I want is a blue slush puppy, but I can't find one in this town. 

Momtoc, good luck with the party, and I hope everything else goes better for you too. Its actually my dh's birthday on Friday, and I promised to give him a party, but now I've changed my mind. It will just be me and him with cheese snackwiche lol. 

Mosaneo, what does oratile mean? How many names do you plan on giving? 

Babyzee, just give into the strawberry ice cream craving...you will feel a lot better afterwards

 Mandri, the bar one ice cream sounds delicious. As soon as I get my car back i'll make my way to wimpy. I don't like the krushers though, the flavours just aren't for me. 

I vaguely remember giving ante-natal and post-natal classes at a public maternity hospital when I was still studying. I'll have to dig up my old notes at my parents house. There wasn't much to it really, just a lot of breathing stuff. 

I just heard that all pregnant government employees will get 8 pre-maternity leave days for doctors visits, tests, scans,etc. It will only start in January 2013 though, so I'm missing out! I could really use those days now. I'm so upset about it....I think i'll fall pregnant again next year just so that I can use this special leave. I plan to stay in the public sector for at least another 3 years, so I'll pop out all my babies while I'm still here just jokes. 

mosaneo im practically counting the days before my leave and im trying to work out a plan for me to stay home as long as possible. so far no luck if anyone has an idea please do share i only have enough leave days for 2 weeks leave.

i stopped myself from the frozen stuff although it`s the only form of drink i can have except for water coz i always have a cold.

for some reason im not interested in antenal classes but will start walking to strengthen my legs.

i have never been to an ante natal class and i did very well with my first son, i do not think i will go either.

Magz we have finalised the one name Oratile and zulu dad doesnt want Njabulo anymore so we still need to come up with one and i cannot think of any, dnt know what changed his mind, i think he is the one with the mood swings

I am also loving smoothies and frozen drinks, they are so lekker!!!

I am so lazy, planning a party would kill me, i get so pissed when coming to work, the months are going way too slow for me. I just wanna be home and go shopping for my baby, nothing hectic that will make me tired. The stadium was enough to last for this year

Mosaneo congrats on team blue yay. and how you survved the stadium with heels and a belly is beyond me.

Mandri im so envious only having my 4D scan at 28 weeks which is my next visit shoo it`s a long wait.

Ms_S the emotional roller coaster is really bad i cried this wknd coz my husband was spending more time with the puppy coz it was sick this wknd. i always have tears in my ears for one reason or another but nothing concrete.

all i can say is pirates is the best lol.

it was my sons 8th birthday so i invited his 4 cousins for a sleep over since friday. someone should have slapped coz that was not very clever. i can hardly stand for too long today was runbning around the whole week.

Magz - freezo would be wonderful right about now...

About the ante natal classes, I'm still in two minds about it, a lot of people say its helpful others say they show you everything in hospital in any case?

I think I’ve joined the ‘I wish I was on maternity leave already’ boat with some of you. I couldn’t for the life of me get up this morning. My body is just giving up on me…all the energy I had previously has all disappeared.

Mosaneo Congrats on team blue! Have you finalised names?
Funny enough I was also at the stadium…had great fun …but my team lost, again!

Momtoc enjoy planning hubby’s party. That’s one thing I just love doing…I think in my next life I will be a party planner/events manager! If I had it my way I’d plan my own baby shower…

Ooooh Babyzee and Mandri! Speaking of cold stuff, I’m sitting at my desk having a yummy (but not so good) Freezo. Its soooo yummy and indulgent. I’m in my happy place right now!

Are any of you going for ante-natal classes? Those of you that went with your firsts, were thy helpful?
