Hi JLK, not sure about maternity swimwear as I was also thinking of rocking the bikini (for a while at least ) as we are going to Sun City next month.

But I haven't really seen many online maternity stores that stock swimwear - I think I have only seen a costume on pregalicious...

I have finally ordered myself a pair of jeans and new work pants from a online store and hopefully it will help the situation, as I can no longer fasten the buttons on my pants and the expander is really not doing the trick. Fingers crossed that fits me and that it is at least good value for money.

I chatted to my doctor about biltong as well, and he said as long as it is dry and have been frozen before you consume it, it will be fine... I have eaten it like that a few times (especially chilly bites), but biltong and me body are currently not friends.

I personally think everything in moderation and you should be fine, obviously I wont take chances with things like salmon sushi etc (even though this is the only thing that I am really craving)- but I have decided not to read up too much on what to eat etc as I think you will drive yourself crazy.

Hi @JLK, I saw recently on FB that there is a new maternity store called Maternityway (you can find them on FB). They might sell some, I would give them a call and see. I was also thinking of that, but in all honesty, I think I will just do the belly out there for everyone to see bikini thing...probably one of the few times I can get away with it!

There are also a few online places, maybe try annabella maternity or yummy mummy (I think they are a little pricey though), and then I think the other one is pregalicious (not sure of spelling)

I'm glad everything seems to be going so well for everyone Isn't it just the best thing seeing your little babe's progress every month?! We're almost halfway on this amazing journey!

@Stormy, I hope your gynea can give you some advice for that headache, and I really hope the chest infection gets better soon.

Normally I don't drink caffeinated coffee so that hasn't been a problem for me during my pregnancy. I have however had the worst craving for Coke and biltong. I was told it's okay to have a glass of coke every now and then but no biltong

We went for our anatomy scan yesterday. Our little man is still a little man and he is doing very well. Still measuring ahead 4 days. He was wide awake and giving us a real show. We have such a nice clip of him drinking the amniotic fluid. He is measuring approximately 20cm from the top of his head to his toes.

@CarienM, the Brazilian calendar is correct for this pregnancy but wasn't for my daughter.

Ladies, where will you be buying your pregnancy swimwear? I'm not big on wearing bikinis - got horrible stretchmarks during my last month of pregnancy with my daughter. We're going away with the family in a few weeks time so I'm going to need a proper swimsuit.

Stormy, going cold turkeys with coffee will definitely give you the dull all day headache, I gave up coffee about two year ago, went from drinking about 5 cups a day and also went cold turkey - had that headache for about two week and nothing really seem so help for it, so I just drank lots of water to flush the system and hoped for the best - but I promise that after two week it will be over.

Caffeine is much like a drug, that's why I decided to no longer drink it - anything that make you feel that bad when not drinking it, can not be good for you....

Sorry to hear about your headaches stormy, I read somewhere that if you put your feet in hot water and a cold ice pack behind your neck simultaneously it can relieve your headache.

Hi Mommies

I am suffering with headaches every single day, that can easily last the entire day, the last check up with my Gynea he said I should take 2 panado every 6 hours but it doesn't even relieve my headache for a second. I know my blood pressure is fine because I was at the doc on Monday and he was happy with it.

I have got a chest infection but the headaches have started from my 15 week mark and they literally last all day, last night I went to be at 6:30 but just to get into the dark, this morning I was up at 2 as hubby was called out for work, and the minute I opened my eyes I felt the headache back

Do any of you have any remedies or anything your doc recommended?
I am due back at the gynea this afternoon but I just need something that's going to help for now, I did read somewhere that it could be a case of lack of caffeine and I have pretty much gone cold turkey on coffee, last week I had coke now and again, which seemed to relieve the headaches but I know coke is not the answer.

I am so desperate!!!!
