Sad you couldn't see the gender BabyT, but glad to hear everything is going well with babybean!

I suffered a bit of abuse in the doctor's efforts to get baby to move so we could see what she is, and to be honest I'm weary of setting my heart on his prediction of a girl - I know they can get it wrong sometimes!

But he was certain enough to tell us to play a joke on the fetal assessor in 2 weeks time - and tell her he'd said it's a boy to see her reaction, and then tell her we're joking - they have a friendly competition of who gets it right first.

So for now we have taken a chance and announced it's a girl

Oh and baby measured 18cm head to heel - bigger than I expected!

@BabyT - Sorry you guys couldn't get a glimpse of the gender - but like you said - baby is doing well and growing - a healthy baby is all that matters

Okay so I went for my appointment this morning and we are a little disappointed that baby decided to sleep and somehow managed to get the umbilical cord between his or her legs.... And that after mom ate an entire spoon full on condensed milk this morning to get baby active - hahaha, probably ended up being in a sugar coma

But even though we didn't really get a nice scan picture either, at least baby is still growing at a good pace and has a very strong heart beat Let's hold thumbs for next month, by then I will be 22 weeks...

Baby is weighing in at a whopping 205g

I am soooo excited for tomorrow mornings appointment! Hope we will also be able to find out the gender.

Cant believe how the little babies are growing so fast, after every scan it just amazes me more with all the detail that one can now see...

So happy everything is going well with your little ones! That is so exciting, and soon you will feel them move, and then they move all the time!!

All is going with our baba, growing like a champ.
Doctor says she could see the gender, but wrote it in our envelope for our reveal party this weekend. Can't wait! eek

It was very difficult to see, but Doc was 90% sure.
I was in such a rush to get there that I missed lunch and only ate my sweet treat just before going in, so baby wasn't super active. Though I don't think that would have helped, seems 'how much' you can see depends more on how they are lying!
