Hello everyone! Feeling a tiny bit better the last couple of days - though I've been living on bananas and all that sugar and carbs is sure to put anyone on a high :P

Saw a dietitian yesterday (referred by my doctor) for advise on how to eat properly during pregnancy and then also managing my chronic condition. She had some pretty good advise on combinations of foods to eat to get all the necessary nutrients, and also recommended Similac Mom shake twice a day as I'm struggling to eat variety with the nausea. She said it might also help with the morning sickness and she's happy for me to take it throughout my pregnancy. Bought a tin and it's easy to drink, took it just before leaving for work to get me through traffic - I only eat breakfast when I get to work. Though that counts as second breakfast as I have a banana and a glass of milk as I open my eyes in the morning.

@nix - getting up to pee is so annoying! I get up at 05:00 every morning, with only 30min left before the alarm goes off  suppose I better get used to it and go to bed earlier!

@BabyT - I bought some really comfy Tshirt bra's at Woolies (no under-wire) and I swear they are so comfortable, I may never wear under-wire again! A colleague gave me an unexpected hug today, and I swear I nearly died. ouch ouch ouch ouch!

Hi Ladies,

Soooo tired! I have changed my working hours for this month so I can start my days off slowly and get some extra sleep. Luckily I work for a fantastic company :)
I feel ok, have off days and good days. I try to get to bed earlier too, getting up to pee in the night is annoying. I know it is only going to get worse later on though so may as well get used to it.

I find I wake up at night sweating often, need to get some cotton pj's, am sleeping in fleece ones. Normally I get so cold at night but now I get too hot.

BabyT - yes to your question, will definitely need to buy some bigger bra's!

Carien- glad you feeling a bit better!

I am basically sleep walking through the day, also can't blame it on the pregnancy entirely - as I had a hectic work schedule - was our first quarter results, so I worked the entire weekend plus additional overtime on Monday en Tuesday - this is my 11th day straight at work, so I am finished

Nausea is still there... And tomorrow I am going to try and get something at the pharmacy for it... as I just don't want to feel like this anymore - but on the positive side, being as tired as I am, I sometimes forget to feel nauseas, hahaha

I am off tomorrow so I will be using the day for some much needed R & R.

One question though - is it just me or is pregnancy REALLY good for increasing your cup size? At this rate I will soon need to do some shopping for bigger bras...

Enjoy your weekend ladies

Morning Ladies, how is everyone today? I am really quite tired, but I cant blame it fully on being pregnant, my son has been sleeping very badly lately which is giving my husband and I a really hard time, we are really hoping this phase passes soon.

I really dont want to speak too soon but it seems my nausea has subsided slightly, dont know if its just the meds working well, either way I am not as nauseous as I was last week which I am very glad for. How is everyone else feeling?

Hope you all have a lovely day :)

I must admit that I am now over the feeling that my food is sitting in my throat the whole time... I really don't feel well, and if I could just crawl underneath the duvet and hibernate for a couple of week, that would be awesome!!

Must say hubby is really helping a lot, he tries to make to food that I prefer to eat and he is really so patient when it comes to me, my moods and my nausea - almost brings me to tears... Knowing that my baba will have such a loving daddy.

But right about now I am also not that excited, and I must admit that a little anxiety has crept in.

Not telling any family either, but it seems like everyone is now asking if I am sure I am not pregnant, hahahaha.... I don't deny but I don't confirm either - feel too weird lying about it - will see how long I can keep this up :-)

And of course I am turning the big three zero over the weekend and everyone wants to know when and where the party is taking place, and they all think I am lying when I say that there will be no party… Hahahaha, they think I am starting to loose the plot, as I normally go all out for our birthdays

Morning Mommies and Welcome and Congratulations to all the new moms.

I must say i have not yet had morning sickness yet. But now that I have said so I think I just jinxed myself.

I also think I am with you @BumbleBee I am a bit terrified sometimes to get too excited, I just pray all goes well. I am sure that its just unmerited anxiety based on others woman's experiences.

My mother called me earlier asking me why we putting off having babies until so late. I did not want to tell her I am pregnant just yet, I know she will go and tell the whole world about her new grandchild. I think the selfish part of me would rather not have the pressure and constant phone calls.

I hope all of you ladies are having a great day.

Ha ha, that's an accurate description! Sick from one morning to the next, with my worst being in the evenings.

We've wanted to add an addition to our family for so long, but must admit I'm surprised to find I'm not particularly excited, but terrified.

I've been sick on and off with a chronic condition diagnosed last year, and being floored with morning sickness now has curbed my enthusiasm. We also supported a close family member through a terrible miscarriage 7 months ago, and this being my first pregnancy I'm honestly just terrified.

Looking forward to the morning sickness blowing over, and hopefully we can start enjoying the ride
