Hi all :)

I started the June 2016 thread but thought I would pop in here too!

My due date is 8th of June second pregnancy but I guess baby will come somewhere in May (I hope only in May as our first born came at 32 weeks)

1st pregnancy had some symptoms this one around I have had none, infact I have pee'd on 4 sticks just to make sure I am still pregnant  I guess I am VERY lucky!

Happy healthy 9 months to you all!

@ Blou - sorry you are not well. I'd suggest lots of vitamin C, echinacea, fluids and REST. Look after yourself.

Hello ladies

Thanks for all the advice regarding gender, I think I will just tell everybody we will tell them when we are 100% sure, they have to respect that :)

@gib, shame hope your son gets better soon and that you don't get it as well
@CDLK, when is your scan, how did it go?

I am feeling terrible, went to Durban for the weekend for work and saw some family there as well, two of them were sick with a cold, and I obviously got it from them, first had a sore throat for 2 days, and now have a runny nose and I am extremely tired, being busy at work is not helping at all

I have not taken anything yet as I don't know if it is safe for the baby, I just want to sleep, do any of you have any advice? I am working again at a conference on Friday and Saturday, so no rest soon :S

I often forget what I have collected unless I have a specific cupboard for it.

Mama Magic is in CT at the end of the month, I am really hoping I can get car seats at better prices than the stores.

@ninies- flutters, aaaw sweet man! I used to spend hours just enjoying the flutters and kicks! cant wait for them to start!

@ gibs, that is hectic. So long as the gynea says its not dangerous. A friend of mine had to take his son and stay with his parents for a few weeks so that the kid was not around the pregnant mum. But I cant for the life of me remeber what the id had-I think it might have been chickenpox! Hope he doesnt pass it on and recovers quickly.

Hows everyone's bumps looking? I really feel like I have a bump alot earlier this time than I did with my 1st.

My 3 year old has MUMPS. He is actually happy enough and not too sick, but I am terrified I will get it. Doctor says it's not dangerous in pregnancy like German Measles, but that if I do get it I will need to make sure I keep the fever under control as there is a slight chance of miscarriage with a very high fever.

Hallo ladies,

How is everyone doing?
I am having a bit of a busy time at work as I have loads to prepare for a strategy and management session next week...

@Jaybee - I also have very vivid dreams and can even remember some of them. They are just so real. How is your tooth feeling? I love your colour scheme - you must please send a picture of the nursery one day when you have it all done. With my son we did the whole nursery thing - the theme that time was Winnie the Pooh. But his room only had a single bed, his chest of drawers with his clothes and toys etc. The cot was next to our bed. He only started sleeping in his own room at about 11 months. So this time we wont be doing the nursery thing again. At the moment with the MIL there, we also dont have a spare room. So I will just set baby up in our room (luckily it is a nice big room) and them hopefully by the time baby is one year old we would have bought a bigger place or MIL would be sorted somewhere else.

@Maj - the store gifts card idea is so cool. And like you say then you dont need to stockpile. I dont have much space at the moment for stockpiling. I am planning on cleaning out December while at home. Ooohhh I also want pronutro. Going to get some this afternoon.

@CDLK - let us know how the scan went?

AFM - Feeling so much better lately, just a bit tired. I am starting to feel feather light movements in my tummy. It is awesome.

@ the 12 week mommies: hope all the 1st tri symptoms have eased, and the 2nd tri glows are starting :)

@ JayBee01 I have always had vivid dreams. But I have been so tired since falling pregs, i cant remember any dreams.
My daughter still wakes some nights, and calls for me to sleep with her, so some nights, the sleep is quite broken.
Hope the symptoms with the antibiotics ease soon. I dont like milk, but have also been wanting to only eat Pronutro for breakfast.
Toast, black tea, and ginger-ale are always go-to's for me when i have running stomach, etc.
The colour scheme is sweet, and u can add touches of pale pink if you need to make it more girly!

I read on another chat of a mum who got store gift cards, and put in money in there every month instead of stockpiling nappies, etc. I think its a brilliant idea, especially since i dont want to find out the gender, and then i can buy more gender specific stuff once the baby is born!
