Due April/May 2016

Hi ladies

Hope you are all doing well, I am 14 weeks and 4 days today, can't believe how time flies. Very stressful time at work and I am so tired, been 3 weeks of chaos! Woke up this morning with a sore throat and a headache, and the bad thing is, I have 3 more weeks of stressful time at work, at least I am halfway through now.

Family have been pressuring me to find out the gender of the baby, we have not told family or friends that gynae said at 12 weeks it might be a boy, she wasn't 100% sure anyway, I want to tell when we are more sure that the gender is correct, and I think I actually want to wait until the big anatomy scan to tell, any ladies who have children already here that had the same issue? How do you respectfully tell people to wait, you will do a gender reveal when you are ready? Everybody seems to be guessing that it is a boy anyway, but because I had my heart set on a girl, I still need to process the idea of a boy myself and I need some time before telling everybody, is that wrong? My husband does not really understand

@ninies, my next scan is also on 5 November, so we will be going on the same day!

@ Maj - it is a bit of a drive. 145km one way. I left this morning at 4.45 and got to the office at 6.45. Will leave at 3pm today. I am totally exhausted.

@Momtobe3, Robertson to CT everyday is waaay too far!

@ Jay-bee01, toothache sounds painful!! How did the babysitting go on Sat?

@ Ninies, how were the inlaws?

I am still so hungry and so tired! slept before my 3 yr old on sat night (before 8pm!!), and then woke at 6am on sunday!!!

@Jaybee - that sounds very sore. Is the antibiotics save to take while pregnant? Wow you are already seeing your gynae again? Has it been 4 weeks already?

AFM, I am 14 weeks today. Officially in the 2nd trimester they say. I am feeling fine. Just bloated but that could be due to the utrogestan that I am still taking. Our next appointment is on 5 November only.
I am still hungry all the time and have to eat to feel better.

How are all the ladies and did you have a good weekend?

AFM, went to the dentist as have horrible tooth ache and I am on antibiotics to clear the infection and then the tooth must come out, luckily it's my last back tooth. The dentist said that I must speak to my Gynae if it its okay to pull a tooth so early in pregnancy. I am seeing my gynae on Thursday morning and cannot wait. Very excited but still very scared as want baba to be perfect.

We will be staying with the in-laws.

I will be working from our Cape Town offices on Monday and Tuesday and will try to rather stay over at friends than driving to and from Robertson everyday.

@ Fairychild, so glad everything is ok. my hubby came to my first app with my daughter and has never been to another app since! So hopefully yours is the opposite

@momtobe3, hopefully CT will be good for you. The weather seems to be good for the week (definitely not a heat wave though )
Will you be staying with your in laws for the week?
