@Momtobe3 - So sorry to hear of your loss. I am sure it is a very stressful time now. For every life God takes he always gives one back and the one he is giving back is in your tummy. Good luck with your appointment. What time are you going?

@Jaybee - How are you feeling today? Has the headaches gone?

AFM - I probably could not be any more moodier with my husband. And I am so irritated with the situation of my mother in law that us staying with us. She has been away for a week to visit his sister and it felt like we were on holiday. Just to have your own space. Of course it feels to be that hubby does not really have any symphathy with me feeling this way and that gets me even more moody. Anyway enough complaining.
I will phone my doctor this morning for my first trimester down syndrome blood test results. I got the utrogestan yesterday. I am taking it in the morning now and I feel a bit better. I think it brings side effects once it starts working out, but If I take it in the morning, it works out at night while I am asleep.

How is all the other ladies doing, Blou, Inca, MTC and all others?

Morning Ladies,

My father in law passed away last night. My husband left this morning on the first flight to Cape Town. I will be going alone to the first appointment today.

@Jaybee - When I got those terrible headaches, my gynae said to take 2 panado's and one disprin. He said the disprin is good for keeping our blood thin aswell. That really helped, but 2 panado's on their own did not help. And he said to go lie down in a very dark room and to sleep.

@Momtobe3 - So sorry to hear you are not feeling well, hope you feel better soon. Sorry to hear about your father in law and also about your in-laws not being too nice to you.

Hi Ladies,

I just had my first scan and confirmed I'm 9 weeks, 6days pregnant!
I had a miscarriage so wasn't quite sure how far along I was.

When it comes to the headaches, the best thing to do is take 2 panados, and get some sleep so it doesnt progress. though thats normally never possible! Also be sure you aint hungry!

@CDLK, maybe you should see a physio/chiro for your back. you might have strained something, etc.

Jay-bee = Still not feeling great. I am really struggling. Pressure at home is also not helping, my father in-law is terribly sick and won't recover which means my husband is in the Cape for a week a month, and this is getting to me. His family is terrible towards me and I am thankful we stay here in Gauteng but this is really getting to be much.

As for headaches, I don't get them often, but if stress gets to much, I take 2 panodo's and they seem to work at this point. Only ever had 1 migraine, and that was when I was 20 week pregnant with my second child.

@ MtB3, are you feeling better today?

@ CDLK, it must be such a relief to be passing the first trimester. I just started the Banting diet a few days before I got my BFP as wanted to loose a few kg. I have not picked up anything in my 9 weeks but my mom and sister both gained weight from the 2nd trimester, so will see  Not sure where you can get the back support strap

@ Inca, so glad you are feeling much better. My 10.5 week scan is on the 23rd Oct

How are all the other ladies doing?

AFM, I developed a migraine late yesterday afternoon straight through the evening and it made me feel naseous. I don't normally get headaches and when I do it is only light ones. The side of my head is still sore today so going to take the afternoon off. Any of you had headaches and any natural remedies for it?
