Hi ladies

@gib, wishing you well, I had some spotting at 6 weeks, and then bleeding and spotting at 8 weeks and 3 days, that lasted a couple of days and I was also put on progesterone and so far everything is fine and the bleeding and spotting has stopped, they did not put me on bed rest though.

I am also still doing well, no more nausea but I do also feel full and bloated all the time, also have a lot of wind (tmi) still feeling off, seem to feel at my worst at night but luckily then I can go to bed.

Also still figuring out what I want to eat, I have a very strange relationship with food these days, I have to eat but I don't want to and I do not know what I want haha, especially difficult at work. Also entering a very busy and stressful time at work so that is not helping

I am finding it really hard to stop eating eggs (i like them soft), mayonnaise and feta, those are some of my favourite things. Still struggling to drink enough water but adding some Sweeto to it now, that seems to make it easier.

Have been waking up a lot at night, not struggling to sleep but just constantly waking up, tossing and turning and then I go back to sleep.

@ Gib, oh no sorry to hear that you are having a rough time. I am also on the Progesterone pills and it can only do good. I know its difficult but please relax and stay in bed.

@ Ninies, are you still nauseous? You are hoping time flies till the 12week and I am hoping for the 8th week. My first scan is on the 2 Oct, yippee.

@ Nikita, I had a cold the first week after my BFP and it just didn't want to go away and it lasted for a week. Hang in there. Luckily I don't have insomnia and I sleep just over 9 hours a night, although I do wake up a couple of times during the night to use the bathroom. Ninies is right no raw egg, like in homemade mayonnaise or choc mousse.

AFM, no cramps but feeling tired all the time. I just want sweet things like waffles, cake or choc biscuits. Luckily I do not have any bad preggy symptoms but my sister said maybe morning sickness hits me at my 6 week mark... maybe then I can stop craving sweets :P

@Ninies - I should actually read up on the what to eat and what not to eat.
I know raw fish is a big no no (even though I love it) and I am trying to limit my caffeine intake. DH actually bought me a Nespresso machine for my bday over the weekend   So I am trying to drink only one cup every second day

@Nikita - I am still in search for my craving....I do have one but I cannot pinpoint what it is.
I thought it was tomato crisps...
Just watch out for any egg in mustard or mayonaise. I had to remember what one must watch out for and what is safe.
The insomnia tends to get worse in the last few months.

@gib - so sorry to hear about your spotting and cramping. I am however sure the utrogestan will do the trick. And of course it will help alot if you stay calm and positive - but I think that is the hard part.

@nikita - I also have this full feeling all the time - it is awful. And I get heartburn too.
I also have early morning insomnia.
They say a pregnant lady is being prepared for all the waking up at nights by insomnia. I remember with my son I would be wide awake very night from around 2am for a long time. But only in the last two trimesters. And once he was born that was the time he woke for a feed. *amazing*

How's everyone?

I had a bit of a rough weekend - spotting and cramping :-( Went to doc this morning and she did a scan - says baby looks healthy (has a heartbeat, yay!) but that I am not out of the woods. She is calling it a threatened miscarriage and has put me on bed rest for a week and prescribed progesterone. All very stressful.
