2015/2016 Pregnancy

Maj I had to tell my boss Immediately. I asked the one day to leave early he said yes but was angry with me for days so I asked the other girls and she said he thinks I am going for interviews so I had to tell him at 9 weeks.

@ maj i told them recently they were so excited i think i was 16 weeks 3days

I just hope my daughter stays as endearing throughout, I think she will tho. Am just worried as she is so used to getting everything that she wants!
Kids definitely know somehow. Though when my nanny was pregnant (about a year and half ago), my daughter went in the opp direction, and fought with her about everything!

I think I crave the meat due to my low iron levels. the dr just called and confirmed my levels are low, even though I am taking a supplement. I think I might have forgotten the day I went to see the dr
He also told me I have an interesting birth date. That confused me, then he adds as he is born on the same date! im taking it as a good sign!

When did you tell work that you are pregnant? Most do it at after 12 weeks, perhaps at 15 weeks?

@ Maj that's so sweet. My cousin's baby is turning one this week and on Saturday he saw my kissed me and when he was sitting on my lap kissed my stomach and put his bottle on my stomach. Do they feel these things? Meat for me is a big NO NO they only meat I can stomach is lamb.

@ nunuza - with the 1st pregnancy I was sick and miserable but with this one no ms nothing. Just heartburn and hunger. Oh and my hair is a mess and my face is dry

Im glad you are doing well.
The 1st night at home hits really badly! if any mum tells you her first few nights home went well, then she is an exception to the rule (or she is lying )
I remember my first 3 nights at home, they were awful! hardly slept (which made the day even harder) and didnt know what to do with the screaming baby! but it definitely gets better. Baby settles down, and before you know it, that first week home is a distant memory!

I have to share what my daughter did yesterday. I was getting dressed, had my pants and bra on, about to put my top on when my 3yr walked into the room. She walks up to me and gently rubs my tummy. She asks if the baby is in side, and then gently starts patting. I ask her what she is doing, and she says "I am making the baby sleep!"

Thanks for the well wishes. Got home yesterday and had a very rough first night. Hope night number two is better. Am getting there on the recovery. Still sore, but not on much for pain and already reducing the dose a bit. Daddy is overjoyed to have his girls home





As far as the hunger goes, I think that it hit me at about 12 weeks! I was ravenous! I tried as far as possible to have healthy options, but I'm not a salad or fresh fruit person (tactile defensive - I force myself to eat such things because I know I need to, there's not a lot of fruit and veg that I really enjoy eating in its normal form. I usually had some cup a soup and added a bit of sweet corn to it (possibly a piece of bread to dip) because cup a snack is expensive and tried to have peanuts available to snack on. Those On the Go mixes from Clicks are also really good.
