i know the work thing is tough, and uncomfortable, but just keep thinking that its only x amount of days and take each day as it comes and soon you will be at home with a little bundle in your arms and as happy as a pig in... or lets say a puppy with two tails. It is all worth it i promise.
Sher - they keep the hospital pretty warm i wore a short sleeve nightie and was still hot under the covers. baby wore a short sleeve vest each day and a long sleeve thin baby grow. I took some warmer things for her but she didn't end up using them.
you will also need a swaddling blanket, and then a heavy blanket to put over so theres weight on her, just to make her more comfortable
Then the other things we had to use is top to toe wash, aqueous cream, surgical spirits, baby oil, a baby towl for the bath, nappies, wipes baby powder, cotton balls.
you will need at least a pack of linnen savers, and maternity pads
then lastly what i thought would be nice is some juice concentrate, you drink quite a bit and the water while it's nice i prefer juice so hubby kept fetching me stuff from the shop there.
Thats about all i can think you wont get away with not having, the rest is pretty much only wants and not needs
Hope that helps?
