Julz is right FIFA are big bullies and apparently they have taken over law making in our country ;) Our local bars etc that are within a particular radius are also not allowed to serve any alcohol other than Budweiser WTF. I had a sip on Saturday and I have to say it's like watered down beer lol.

Re the security not being up to standard it's cos our local organising commitee have not kept to their promise regarding pay and now we have SAPS providing security at the stadiums. The fools obviously are not completely informed on who should go where.

But good on the supporter for telling the English team off ... I am annoyed too lol ... see what happens when David Beckham isn't playing

My 2 other favourites (other than Brazil) ie England & Italy are playing so badly :( How disappointing would it be if we had to see a country like New Zealand in the semi-finals ... poor people that payed good money will be so disappointed.

Okay that is my non-preggie rant over :silly: :silly: :silly:

Julz- ha ha ha ha ha I wonder though if they were south africans being paid to wear a label for a non sponser would they have been charged.......

O.k I must admit I didn't hear the final outcome of the dutch girls but really, it's a waste of time and money and they are not catching all these criminals who are actually stealing!

And I will stand for no bad words to be said against this England fan because he really is not the one at fault, FIFA should have ensured adequate security especially for a country such as England who had threats of terrorism pre WC!!! LOL o.k I'll pack my preggy attitude back into her box now but thanks for the opportunnity to vent! LOL

Fifa is law in this country. I agree it is shocking that they seem to rule the roost and our own constitutional rights seem to mean nothing, but those women accepted payment to wear the outfits and there were warnings that group advertising against sponsors would not be tolerated.

Rules are rulea!!! Okay Vix glad I am in Cape Town or I know you would be heading over to kick my smart arse. Only mess with a preggy woman when you are 1500km away. ;)

Simone- SERIOUSLY!

The guy claims he was looking for the toilet and a security personell pointed him in the direction of the players tunnel, he opened the door, realised he was in the team room and thought, heck whilst I'm here I'll tell them to play a bit better, he calmly told Beckham that he and many others have come so far to watch them win, it's about time they syarted playing properly, turned around and walked out. He was arrested in his hotel and released on R500 bail, he was due to appear in court this morning but it hasn't yet been heard. He faces being banned from attendeding future matches. Beckham has publicly spoken out and said the guy was not agressive or physical in any way.

I think it's actually embarassing to SA that such a pathetic case can be heard especially when a security breach is their own fault. The British papers will not report nicely on this case, they were just looking for something to go wrong, the fan in question has already sent a video home to UK explaining his accidental encounter and how he is now being treated.

Last week 3 dutch women were arrested for wearing outfits carrying the name of a beer that was not an official FIFA supporter, they say they were wearing the orange outfits to show support for their country not advertise a beer. Arrested, I mean really, go get the buggers who are theiving from the teams hotels and leave innocent supporters alone!

It makes me so angry, they are wasting so much time and money on crap!
