With u guys on the trips....our honeymoon was at Bushman sands...and our 1st anniversary in Plettenberg bay at the Beacon Island hotel. Gerard spent alot of money on both of those....initially i thought he was nuts...but the memories are so precious now! (Seeing as i'll probably never go on a romantic getaway ever again with a child! lol)

Helen- Sjoe, I had forgotten about how I used to cry everytime C would cry because I knew it meant boob. It wasn't too sore for me but the problems came from 6w with feeding every hour, after 2 weeks I was in pieces. My PND only started about 6w I never even got the baby blues after the birth but I swear the hourly demands for feeding were the start of the PND along with C's constipation issues. When the BF advisor told me to feed every hour if that's what he needs cos that's what I'm there for that is when I felt totally inadequate, oddly after BF really well for 6w.

Julz- Great that your Pead is checking thoroughly before giving meds. I hope you catch the wee 1st time! LOL

Our wedding also only cost R60,000 but R25,000 of that was on accomodation for my family who flew in from the UK. So actually only R35,000 for everything. But we also could've easily gone cheaper. We used a venue that arranged almost everything including flowers, DJ, Champers. I only had to organise the bridal party outfits and my bouquet because I wanted something really special. I went to a florist and they only charged me R350 for my bouqet.

We never had a honeymoon because I flew out to work 3 days after my family left, I only came back end of Jan and feb I fell pregnant. That's why my folks treated us to that game night away as a little honeymoon spoil we never had. It was as good as 2 weeks!

Yoza- Football is a huge thing in England but I must say our boys are dissapointing us this time. Ha ha, I love the way a fan found himself in Englands changing room so whilst there thought he'd tell the lads he was dissapointed. I am however pretty pissed that that fan has to go to court and may even be banned from future matches because the security wasn't up to standrd! Beckham himself said, the guy casually walked into the changing room, said a few words (not at all agressive) and calmly walked out. The guy flew 9000km to see his team play and flippin FIFA are going to ban him from future matches, ridiculous! I think this whole world cup crimes court is a little out of hand!

Helen- are you enjoying this pregnancy?

Zamzie- how are you and baba doing?

Nelria- how are you? I am so looking forward to thursday.

Ya nicole...you know..u invite 100, 200, 300 people...and at the end of the day...5yrs later for us....only a handful of people are still in my life. Small and intimate...really its the way to go. its difficult to cut numbers....but really ask yourself...what does this person bring to my life? Will they still be a part of our lives in 2 years? 5 years? 10 years?

Lisha...Angie...Hindsight is a lesson learnt just a bit too late hey?? The money one could have saved!

Ally where is the 'Essies' brand sold? never seen it or heard of it.

Julz good luck with the bag of pee!!! Hope its nothing serious but great for your paed to be so careful and check thoroughly!

Oh Lisha i forgot to say...so glad the whiskey was a hit! Money well spent;-)

Angie I agree the romantic trips away are the best and I would never compromise on that either.
