Ally never thought of mixing...cause i wassearching for the perfect shade forever!

I see nude shades have been in for a while now as well...dont think that would work on everyone...especially not me! And not a chance am i doing the bright neon nails...the yellows and greens???? no thanks! I'm glad the black colour has been around for a while and doesnt appear to be going away yet. gerard loves it...he says it makes me look funky...lol

Nicole...you think you have long...the time is flying so fast!!! I think if i knew then what i know now...i never would have splurged on my wedding like i did.

I spent almost R10 000 on flowers...when initially my budget was R3500! now i look at the creative ways people save on centrepieces...and i think..wow Simone..you didnt have to spend that much. but that being said...i dont regret it because people remember i had stunning flowers...but is that important now? Nope!

So do what suits your pockets. No matter how much u spend and how stunning u try to make it (stunning colour scheme by the way) people will find something nasty to say! So do what u want for you and your hubby to be!

Ally its a woolies brand. I quite like the colur...but i find the quality is bad. Its very thin and chips terribly. for R75...i reckon i could rather have bought those R5 nail polishes at those discount cosmetic shops!

Simone wedding plans are going slow as we werent saving like we suppose to,but started 2 months back so i would say we will proberly have enough to get married beginning of next year. However I have decided that I dont want a big expensive fancy reception. So my ideas are (although they may change) is to have a beautfil service and decorate the church with yellow and white roses and satin throws etc and then we might rent out the top floor of a hotel here which is not to expensive and decorate with yellow and white flowers etc, everyone pays for their own drinks and that. I am still thinking about it and making plans in my head, still a long way to go though.

re: pregnancy weight i picked up 26kgs!!!!! lost 8 in a week and then the rest over a period of 2 months.

Which polish are you using Simone? I'm using Rimmel's Deliciously Dark and then I mixed my own using Bloom's Black and Essie's Red. I had half a red left that I knew I wasn't going to use so added some of the black. Such a yummy shade!

Helen 4am???? Ooh i would have gone bananas! Re: bf...same here..it was excrutiating. I remember wanting to hit Addison once...(as reflex) due to the pain...every feed I wanted to cry when it was approaching...it was total agony! My nipples got infected...i got milk fever...did not help matters!

Vix I remember i lost 6kgs in my first trimester. Started putting on weight around 19w. In total 13kgs for pregnancy (i know u ended up putting on like 1kg or being 1kg less than starting weight at the end???).

Helen wondering now..i lost my weight very fast...(i think)...in 10 days it was gone...and Addison was not growing as she should...so next time i'll look out for that.

Hmm Yoza I would have been annoyed at your DH! That is so not right and u made the effort! Talk to him..soon!

Nicole next time i'll have a bottle on standby...too much pressure re: BF when some people just cant! I cried like a baby with the first bottle i had to give her...felt like the wosrt mother! My brother even made it cause he was so sick of seeing me cry, Addison hungry...i chucked out his first 2 attempts until the paed gave me the ml's she needed per day to thrive...and we were nowhere close with expressing.

Ally i agree re dark polish..it chips so fast. I have a burgundy black on and i see its chipping. meant to bring to work to touch up...I have interview tomorrow and i find the dark colour stains my skin if i take it off untidily! So need to take off and reapply as early as possible to fix.

You dont realise how much the pill helps with skin i gues!s! My hormones are so out of whack...so will have to make a decision to live healthier at least...that should help my skin. It feels like leather today...so dry!

Julz...i plan to report in future...i have heard numerous stories at the same hospital...new moms treated the same way! i wont be going back!

Lol @ Gogga vix! Yesterday Addy handed me a shoe when she saw a mosquito going 'GGGG' (that's goggo to her cause everybody calls it that to her)..and then when i killed it she went: Naughty GGG!! lmao! Poor mosquito....

I wanted to sms u yesterday...but i thought..what if you are coping and here i make u cry! So ya...was thinking about you alot. My first 2 years were bad...i just stayed in bed and cried all day...because Gerard was not a dad yet so had nothing else to focus on. I found this year...i kept busy trying to do the nice lunch for us...and i still cried alot...but we had a wonderful lunch. If not for the somberness i'd almost say it was romantic.

GRRR re: 3 odd hour wake up with Shreyan!! I am exhausted and i got up at 3:13am (I GRAB THE CLOCK AS SOON AS I HEAR A MOAN!!lol), it was into our bed time...then we spelt til 6am, put on Annie, then Gerard and i slept til 7:15am. But i feel like a truck rode over me!!!

I think all the emotions and crying also takes a toll and you do feel it the next day.

Yoza how many freakin tickets do you have??? lol. Enjoy it though!

Morning ladies.

Our father's day was so relaxed and chilled after the dinner on Saturday. I drank quite a bit. I had a turkish delight martini, half a bottle of wine and 2 Patron Tequila shots (the chef gave it to us on the house because of the review I did for them hehe). The meal was yet again so amazing. Nice to know everything is as nice even when they're not expecting me. So yesterday we stayed in pj's most of the day, the twins slept for 2 hours in the afternoon while C and I had McD's and watched Under The Tuscan Sun and then canoodled a bit. Very relaxed and lovely!

The twins were in incubators for a few days because they were slightly prem and not breathing well. But I enjoyed it. I could recuperate in peace.

Sorry for all the bad nights. The previous night was horrible for us but I think because the twins were completely out of routine due to my aunt watching them etc. They didn't close the curtains, closed the room door with the humidifier on etc. etc. etc. So both slept in our bed the previous night. Last night was much better and they slept until 8 this morning. *touch wood* I always jinx myself lol.

I need to phone the paed now for the 18 month check-up appointment. I still haven't done it!! And then I'm seeing Nelria on Thursday and my other friend some time this weekend.

Eish, looking down at my nails as I type now. I seriously need to re-apply the almost black brown I've got on. I just love dark polish but you see chips and smudges so much easier. I paint my nails twice a week now coz of the dark polish. In summer I'll go back to the reds and pinks. Am I the only one crazy enough to wear nail polish all the time? lol
