Nicole glad you guys had a nice fathers day. Sorry Keiran still isn't sleeping well. Shrey was really doing well these last couple weeks ... sleeping through and waking after 5 for boob but last night ... may have been his fall or the runny nose he has this morning or the 4 teeth still not through but getting there.
Tonight he is getting Calpol cos I can't have another rough night, I will go mad

Vix you're right everyone's 2nd pregnancies just seem to be speeding by ... hope you're enjoying every minute (well except the ms)

Helen not sure if with Oliver you started with nipple cream in advance. I'm sure I must have used it since maybe 2 months ahead and no cracked or bleeding nipples. The only sore part for me was the uterus contractions I felt in that first week.
Sorry you also had a disturbed sleep. Glad you guys are settling in so nicely.

Angie the painting sounds like such fun ... must get Shrey some paints soon cos he gets so excited when he sees the kids on Teletubbies painting.

Yoza enjoy the match today. Hope things get settled between you and hubby soon. Have a good chat with him.

Lisha sorry that yesterday was hard for you, simone you to!

Vix that is actually a great idea re: the implantation. It could prevent many unwanted teenage pregnancies.

I am also very forgetful with my pill! eeek

MOrning Ladies, had a nice weekend, although keiran has developed a bit of a cough. Had a nice fathers day - got df a nice top, boxers, socks, photoframe, mug and chocolates.

Angie keiran also loves painting, on saturday we put a log out for him to paint and he loved it, going to paint keirans name and the date on it and keep it. :)

Julz sorry to hear about Dylan.

Keiran was not put into a incubator, also maybe cause i had natural birth? he was given to me for 10 min, then they took him to the nusery and df went with and my mom came with me to shower, get cleaned up dressed etc, they then brought Keiran threw to me and I had had him most of the day besides from 12:30 til 14:00 it was "mommies time" so I slept, then i had him again from 14:00 til 20:00 where they took him so I could get a good nights rest, although i still had adreline so only slept for like 4 hours. :)

Simone what a terrible nurse, really they suppose to be their to support and help us.

I didnt bf, keiran really struggled to latch and my nipples were really sensitive so after alot of tears and frustration i put Keiran on formula and that was the best decision i made. :)

Lisha glad you enjoyed the soccer, grrrr on the bad night. I seem to be having one of those EVERYNIGHT, i really dont know what is up with Keiran :(

Helen glad the unpacking is coming along, and that the house is starting to look like you guys want it to look.

Morning ladies,

Lisha- I'm sorry yesterday was so hard! And such a bad night :-( sorry!

Julz- I hope Dylan hasn't got anything too serious and Dr can fix him up, these fevers are horrid! You feel so helpless in the middle of the night.

I don't know why I loose so much weight when pregnant, not that I mind, I struggled my whole life to stay around 70kg and now I'm 64 and pregnant. I have lost 2.5kg in 9w so far, not bad for someone who is stuffing her face all day long. My metabolism just goes crazy when pregnant. Just hope it doesn't mean it's another boy :-(

In England contraceptive pills are completely free to everyone, I'm not sure if the clinic charges anything over here?

I actually had a Hormone implant in my arm, that was great, it lasted 3 years and was about 2cm long and as thick as a pencil lead so I hardly noticed it. It was great for me because I worked all unearthly hours and would always forget to take a pill. Shame they don't do it here, that would actually be a great thing for the Gov to provide free of charge then so many unwanted pregnancies could be avoided. I remember at the time they told me the cost to NHS was only 16 pounds (about R200) so for 3 years that would be a great investment.

This is the best yet bussiest week for me in ages, thursday I get to meet Xen and friday I get to see my baby again, then an hours massage on friday afternoon! Sat a 1st birthday party. Just 1 more month and hopefully I can find out the sex of this little being!

I am loosing weight but I'm fat! LOL my belly is popping out already 'boiiiiiiing' shame this pregnancy is going so fast and I just want it to go slow so I can enjoy it.

Hi ladies,
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
AFM - Our weekend was lovely, CJ and I made a Fathers Day card for DH on Saturday, Cj enjoyed the painting so much, he was full of paint up to his elbows, it was so nice bonding with him, and it was actually quite therapeutic. I am definetely going to make a point of painting with him once or twice a week!

For fathers day, Cj and I woke DH up with coffee, rusks and card, and all snuggled in bed. Then I made a nice big lunch for us all and we just relaxed and enjoyed being together!

Julz - shame temp quite high - hope after pead has seen him and given meds, he will get better soon!

Yoza - sjoe girl you are really make the most of 2010 getting to see so many games! NJOY!

Lisha - sorry re bad night with Shrey!

Cj was also in the incubator for about three hours - had slight problems to latch, but I was determined to BF and the night staff assisted me so much and sat with me through out the first feed. I am forever thankful to them - and I BF for 4 months!

Vix - cute idea re the bugs theme for party!
