Julz - hope it's nothing serious, and that you get the results soon, so that the right meds can be given if needed!

Nicole - I definetely agree with Lisha and Simone - small, not expensive intimate wedding is the way to go. We had quite an expensive wedding, because we have a lot of family and friends.... but if I could turn back time, I would've rather spent that money on paying off a bond or something! I would however never take away our honeymoon, we went to Zanzibar and it was absolutely magical and sooo romantic, the money we spent on the trip and their are so worth it till this day!!!!

Julz hope he doesn't have anything serious. Shrey hated that bag over the penis lol and we only got proper sample with the 3rd bag cos he poo'ed with the first 2

Nicole we didn't spend too much on our wedding either ... then again it was 9 years ago ... We had to furnish a new flat and we spent some on a small getaway the week after. At that time dh was just starting off at the bank and I was still in articles so we had to spend our little earnings wisely lol. Like Simone if I knew then what I know now I would do things differently, starting with a smaller more intimate wedding.

Hi ladies back from the paed.

Dylan's tonsils are a bit red so it could be that but doc isn't convinced. They are going to test his urine too. He has a little bag over his willy. lol. Once we get those results we will start meds.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Ally wow that is fantastic re:your wedding budget!! Although must be honest i definatly dont have that much to spend on the wedding :( I would like something simple and gorgoues, its more for df and I and we both know what we want, and want to pay for everthing in cash as we already have debt lol. Thanks I am willing to listen to any advice regarding saving money and ideas :)

Simone I absolutly love the nice shimmering yellow - dont know if that sounds right but dont like the dull yellow or the to bright yellow....lol, somewhere in between. :)

Simone, I love Essie and Rimmel. Rimmel is cheap so even if it chips it's fine but Essie is really good quality for R80. I love the bright pinks and reds but yellow and green are also not for me.
My nails are ALWAYS painted. I give them 2 days a week to breathe etc. but not many people see me without nail polish.

Lisha, I don't do dishes. Even if we didn't have a maid I wouldn't. I cant stand putting my hands in dirty water...eek! I love our dishwasher! lol

Nicole, I know many people don't talk about wedding budgets etc. but I've never been shy to tell people our wedding only cost R60 000. That includes EVERYTHING. Our wedding venue gave us an INCREDIBLE package. R350 per head including the venue hire, chapel, honeymoon suite for the night, bridal suite to get ready in, all the champagne, DJ, cake, cutlery & crockery, tables and chairs and divine buffet dinner. Then I paid R7000 for all the flowers, underplates, candles and candelabra's and my hair. (my hairdresser does all that and I've been with him for years so he did my hair for free), R1000 for my make-up, R5000 for my dress and shoes, R1000 for my jewellery and bag, I did all the stationary myself. I designed it all myself and did the printing at QPhoto. It cost me R200 to do ALL the printing. I think I spent about R1000 on ALL the stationary, invites, table chart, name cards, table numbers and menu's. I think the most expensive was the rose paper I used. So you can get away with not THAT much. Our wedding was pretty cheap if you look at other people's weddings and it was a gorgeous fun wedding. If you need any help just shout, I have a LOT of penny pincher tips for weddings.

Ally & Simone you ladies clearly do not do a lot of dishes lol I did paint my finger nails the same choc cream that I put on my toes but not liking it much and it will definitely start chipping by tonight :cheer:

Simone lol what can I say I have to feel sorry for the teams that aren't as popular.
Ai so you also had a disturbed night ... let's hope for better for all of us tonight.

Nicole I hope you get to have your dream wedding soon.

Re BF like I said previously I will not do it exclusively the next time ... for me now it is a huge pain in the boob lol. Shrey tugs and pulls etc too much so I'm not enjoying it anymore. It still is awesome for bonding but he's big enough now. Tonight I will go home with plasters over my nipples and hope that he will feel sorry that mummy has an eina. This morning in the car I said to him that I am going to Dr John (his paed lol) and she is going to take his noonie's away and he says no  in a desperate tone ... will just get a can of coke to help him along ...
