Helen what are wooden puzzles? Like normal puzzles, but thick and wooden? That is excellent of Oliver !! You should take a video of it...it must be amazing to see him put all those pieces together...I mean I resist taking a video of her putting an 8-piece together...so a 24piece would have been on you tube already! lol

I went to an educational shop and the lady wanted to give me a 4 piece or 6 piece due to her age...I took 8-piece...and she did great...so now I know its not crazy to go for bigger ones! Though will go to 12 piece and then 24 piece....Oliver will be on 100 pieces by then! lol.

lol 2km. Day 21 test you say. Wow you are lucky you can even consider having money left at that time of the month.

Helen some kids have trouble with Augmentin. Usually a runny tummy, but call the paed rather.

Dylan is also on Augmentin at the moment and he doesn't seem better. I took him to the gp and I am sorry but I never really trust the gp! Bad I know but anyway. I will see how his is by tomorrow and then possibly take him to the paed.

@ Vix, your bit about the ttc thread is quite a lot of the reason why I have stopped chatting there so much. I pop in every now and then but it's not like it used to be. It's gotton quite technical and I am so not into all those tests like SimoneC says. I wouldn't know how to read a BBT chart if you paid me and a CD21 test sounds like something you do 21 days after payday to see if you have any money left or not.

Mandy - shoo that's a bit hectic on the emotions. Sorry for the disappointment, glad you're keeping positive though. I agree with Ankia, your BFP will come when the timing is right.

I feel a bit guilty about the whole TTC thing as it happened so easily for us I didn't know ANYTHING (and I mean ANYTHING) about when is the right time to BBD etc, I just came off the pill and we spent two months getting pretty busy in the bedroom. I googled and read one article about how your body works (I didn't even know when in a cycle you ovulate lol) so we just had a week when we went at it a bit 'harder' because my discharge was thicker so from the one article I'd read that's when you're likely to be ovulating and lucky for me it worked. I'd been told years ago it would never happen naturally so its a miracle we managed it twice without any fuss.

I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be to go through month after month without a BFP and its really sad to hear that the TTC thread isn't as supportive as it might be I sometimes think the internet gives us too much information so then we stress unecessarily about things where ignorance would actually be bliss. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that being informed isn't helpful or good but I think it can sometimes put pressure on us that we really don't need in our already stressful lives.

I can't say about boys, we weren't actively TTC when I fell pregnant with Oliver and with Nina like I say, we spent a couple of months getting a bit busier than normal...

Ally - That's fab news about Penguin. Wish we lived closer so we could taste some of your awesome recipes Its going to be tough to pick 10 out of 50 lol! Good luck cooking up a storm

Simone - About the puzzles, I'm happy to say that's one area where Oliver seems to excel, he can complete a 24 piece puzzle, he has no problem with wooden puzzles, then he has two nice thick Thomas the Tank ones and he can do those then he has a wooden 16 piece one which he can also do. Then he has two 24 piece Cars ones (they're like R40 from CNA) but he struggles with those because the pieces are thin card so they don't 'click' together very well so the pieces keep falling apart and he gets frustrated and soon enough bored with those. It must be something to do with the different areas of the brain as ALL of your kids are waaaaay ahead of Oliver with speech etc.

Vix - I didn't even know Pfairy was going to be in town?! Shows how distracted I am at the moment When is she going to be here? I'd love to join for a meet, we are around this weekend but then away from Wednesday - am I going to miss out?

Julz - Sorry about the rough night with Dylan, I swear it must be something to do with their age. Nina sleeps through 6.30pm-5.30am without any fuss but I am up probably 2-3times a week with Oliver fussing grrrrr. Hope he sleeps better soon I can't even blame teeth anymore as Oliver has all of his.

Nicole - Are you nice and settled into your new house now?

Lisha - Does your mum find it tiring looking after Shrey? I think mum's finding it hard work having both of mine for 4 days a week

I think I might have to phone the GP, I'm not sure if the Augmentin is agreeing with Nina, she's been throwing up quite a bit since she's been taking it so I've asked mum to try giving it before a feed rather than after (as instructed by the pharmasist) and then if there are no improvements today then i think I'll have to see if she can take an alternative, I really hope she can take it as we are so broke I really can't afford new meds, our Medical Aid is finished after all the meds she's needed I got an appointment with the ENT for next week so hopefully we can try and find out what's causing all the problems...

It never rains but pours, had to get a new tyre this month as I hit a brick (ooops) and popped a tyre and then to add to our financial woes my microwave blew up last night...grrrr.

anyways, must get back to work. XxX

Yes Danie Botha is great. He assisted my fs with my surgery in Cape Town. He was a fellow at the clinic I used.

Julz I'm so glad my gynae is a FS as well! Only downside is he'll only take me to 13w as he doesnt deliver anymore. Heck knows what happens to me after 13w now...lol. I'm sure they'll refer me to somebody and you also told me about a guy here...Danie Botha maybe??
