Simone one always worries if our caregivers are being pushy what with what goes on out there so I am really pleased you feel better after having heard about your friend. It is really important. You don't want to wonder afterwards what if.

After reading so much about natural vs c section, I recon you are absolutely doing the right thing.

Wow an almost christmas baby for you and Mandy. Going to be a hectic couple of months of the year for you guys.

I know that you guys took a while to conceive etc and I know that these things can't/shouldn't be planned, but it would have been nice to have a baby born about 5 months either side of Christmas. November is too close for me even. It just feels that Dylan gets way spoilt for a a couple of months and then nothing for a whole year!

Mandy do update us after scan:) And decisions on name yet?

Mandy i'm not hung up on how he gets here....just would have liked the option to try a natural birth:) Wow only 1 day apart? I was just looking at calendar and thinking of maybe moving to the 21st/22nd...trying to go as late as possible...but obviously dont wanna be reckless and jeoporadise mine or babies health. He said we can assess as we get closer.

Just spoke to a friend now with same gynae...she is hell bent on c-section and she said he wanted to know her reasons and said he wants to educate her on both options. I thought perhaps he is shooting me down unnecessarily, but feel better now as she says he seems very pro natural. So I am moving on...and baby is coming by c-section sometime later in December!!!!

oooohh brilliant scan news Simone!! wowee 2kgs, lovely! sorry that you have to give up idea of VBAC, hopefully you can get around to believing that how they get into the world is not as important as them coming into the world safely and securely

the awesome part of your news is that our babies look to be coming into the world ONE DAY apart!!! as SO far, my date is set for the 21st December! Obviously closer to the time i reserve the right to change it to later if baby isnt big enough etc but for now thats what the plan is!

Simone love the table!! I recon it is best to do the c section then. You are already quite far and it hasn't moved. Dylan arrived 10 days early too. Have you decided on a name yet???

Having a rough day but all sorted now. Had to replace alarm battery, then this morning my neighbour called me to let me know there was water on my driveway so another burst pipe. I called roto rooter and they fixed it in an hour. We can claim some back from insurance thankfully.

Still sorting out my house. Doing the 40 bags in 40 days thing. It is so good to get rid of stuff that we don't use.

Dylan is sweet but cheeky these days!! He has an answer to everything. Slept through again last night and his speech is so much better so the op was worth it and he didn't struggle afterwards which makes me feel better.

We are going on our first camping trip this weekend. I am off on Monday too. It is going to be fab, just hope weather is good too.

lol Mandy...my sister asked if Addison was having mini wedding on Saturday. Addison loved it though....was quite please with how it turned out:)

Baby update...he is doing well. WEighing just over 2kgs so nice and big!! My placenta is still covering my cervix....but 'luckily' its lying at the back and not front as when they cut if in front can be another risk/problem. Doc seems to think that i need to give up on the VBAC idea so reluctantly I have had to set my c-section date. I am doing it 10 days before due date on 20th December. Wish I could have gone longer... anyways...otherwise placenta looking good, fluid good, baby breech...he hurts me on botton left alot...oi! But I'm happy he is doing so well;) Excited to meet him now!

Have my baby shower this weekend...so quite excited about that!!
