ladies the bath paint is HUGE success as pfairy said 3/4 bath soap 1/4 maizena and colouring - i bought empty pots from craft store and made 4 colours and 5 brushes for R7 and lea paints everything and daddy wiped away super quick no stains

ok vix ideas for inside (messy but worth it)

mix maizena with water (u can do 3 bowls) different consistencies put some newspaper down and give him bowels with spoons the maizena reacts to heat SUPER COOL when its in bowl it wil be cold and hard once he picks it up it goes soft and liqued only to return to solid state in bowl - VERY ENTERTAINING

homemade paint stick A4's together and let him paint hands and feet

papermache - strips of newspaper dunked in glue (google recipe thinks its ponal and water or walpallpaper glue fold over baloon - let dry and pop baloon after

grassdolls - get grasseeds, fill a stocking one side closed with rubberband - first pour in grasseeds then sawdust close other end off - soak grassseed side in water place that up and no grass side down in bowl of water and leave - next day decorate with felt eyes etc in 3 days hair starts growing

ok so did shopping today went to 4 toy store's and u wont beleieve reggies way cheaper than all - then the toy shop and toys r uss ranking as most expensive

got a barney, some clickety shoes, paints(for holiday) trick boxes(for bigger kids for xmas, water squirt thing - getting pool and balls tomorrow as 1st 3 had it but toys r us was R50 more so will get it from local tomorrow rather

also got party preps - doing that tomorrow got grape icing from bakers shop

ally i got pre-mix icing from them - how much butter to make icing? and how do u mix the 2 up?

re - leaving kids i said to brett today i love how close ouma is to lea so when we are in own house she can have sleep overs all the time and he was like YEEEEEEEEEEEE! LOL

ladies xen is 5mnths now - do u think i will be wasting time sleep training now? - remember he is on boob and in my room but still waking 2hrly for boob - so thinking of battling it out with water but so scared as he will cry and i cant move him out and dont want to stop breastfeeding man it sucks when your kidos are crap sleepers!!!!!

Ally- sorry to hear about your little cousin's hearing! Poor thing! I hope they can help her as much as possible. My step father was deaf for 3 years as a child until one day they discovered what was causing it, did an op and he has been hearing fully ever since but he had years of speech therapy for the years he was behind in speech. I hope if they can 'save' some of her hearing then perhaps speech thrapy will help her too.

I was looking for something 'different' for dinner tonight so I was going through Ally's blog and found the chicken enchaladas but I didn't have any of the herbs or seasonings on the list so I decided to play with it and using Simones tip on tomato I made a tomato and onion peri peri chicken for inside...... Will be interesting to see how it turns out........

Feel like something yummy for dessert too so I'm going to make my super quick self saucing choc pudding and custard.

I am feeling so 'heavy' down low, it's like a heavy pain, and my tummy is super hard. It feels like there is no more room in my tummy it's sooooooo full LOL

C is in a terrible mood today! Even his daddy is loosing his temper. I don't know what upset him but he's driving me crazy!

Ally that is terrible. Hope Angie will have some advice for you guys and I really do hope they find a way for her to lead a normal life like your friends brother does.

Simone so when are you getting your hearing aid???? I am going to enquire in the next month or two.

Sorry I reread and see she is completely deaf in the one ear....that is not nice. I really hope there is something they can do for her:-(

Ally shame man...that is sad, BUT as a partially deaf person, its not the end of the world for her. With modern technology and hearing aids....I am sure she'll have a good quality of life. Also as you say, they caught it early, so her brain can be 'trained' to hear and the hearing aid should help so that her hearing does not get worse.

Angie is an expert in this field so perhaps she can give some advice for you to pass on to your aunt!

That being said (about it not being the end of the world), yes, you are right...we dont want to think about our kids being anything that 100% 'normal'...even something as small as eczema makes me feel like a bad parent some days because I know its my fault Addison gets it....so I cant imagine how terrible it is when its something worse or bigger.
