Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Hi everyone

Thank you very much for your support. Julz my paed was not too concerned about his weight either but I think that it's really starting to bother her now. What we are doing at the moment is I have to keep record of everything he eats/ portions etc...His daycare teacher is also making a note for me of everything he eats there. He is now actually drinking the paediasure without a fight as we are referring to it as "milkshake". Have stopped stopped sweets and chips totally (even though he is not really eating much of those) and being very patient with him and asking him all the time if he want to eat or especially making his favourite things. So we are doing the feeding combined with the paedisure for the next 2 months then in October we have another appointment and will take it from there.

JulzI hope that your doctors can figure out something that will help you soon.

Nicole, still enjoying the independece of driving. Will be making my appointment at the end of this month. Driving lessons are coming along nicely though.

Simone, I would also have it checked out if I was you.

Simone you supper idea sounds nice. AF came this morning so I am feeling very TEARY so I guess Nicholas will have to make supper. As all I feel like doing is crawling in bed with a nice hot water bottle.

Oh ladies and I forgot to mention that my SON has actually become much more affectionate towards me (and some of you will remember that this has been an issue for me). It's so nice having him actually loving me and kissing me and hugging me and asking for me etc etc etc..it's the most amazing experience in the world and I am so happy to finally know what it feels like.....

Thanks Nicole. My ENT doest't think it is sinus related. I have bad headaches mainly when I move or am lying down so last night I got 2 hours of sleep only.

Wanted to say that Dylan is a serious babe magnet. He had 14 year old girls swooning and coming up to him and wanting to hold him. Neil was very proud!

Julz i cannot even imagine your frustration with your sinus!! It must be driving you crazy - are you able to work? When is your appoitment with the neuro - the sooner the better. I hope Dylan feels better soon, hopefully with the arrival of summer the kiddies wont be so sick. Although i stress for September as thats K worse month for hayfever - i have already got him on homepathic meds to try and avoid him getting it badly.

Yoza mine and dh's anniversary is also next month - i cant belive how fast its gone - really cant wait for our romantic night away, looking forward to seeing what my dh has planned

Simone UIT is different to thrush which can cause you to feel as if you have a uti and with thrush you may bleed. If you have a uti and are bleeding then it is a serious infection or maybe a kidney stone. I would see the doc sooner. You could even pop into a medicross if you have one or some of the clicks do urine tests. Please see the doc sooner if you think it is UTI. Rather be safe.

Siba's ear was draining and had a bit of a smell luckily the grommets are still intact. He is on antibiotics again, celestimine and illiadin he has been so sick for the past two months I hope this time no more vistis to the gp.
The lil madam is full of drama and funny antics she is such a joy. She is a bit clingy especially towards me cries when I leave for work. I love the hugs i get though when I return.
I was away this weekend attending a family funeral my dads younger brother passed on he was buried at our rural village in the eastern cape.
I on ther hand am good next month is my anniversary so planning a romantic night with hubby.

Julz I am seeing GP on Thursday so will mention the UTI then. I just know with Addison my UTI's were much worse....I used to bleed as well and always got thrush...this wasnt like that. So you think Thursday will be fine? I obviously dont want to put my baby in any danger.
