So anyone got a cake recipe for me? I would rather Vanilla than my origional request of Valinna LOL but if someone has one with oil ratjer than butter maybe it would stay more mosit? I have a lovely Choc recipe with oil and it actually becomes even more moist with age.

Leigh- I'm actually gutted you're so far away, my friend was searching and searching for someone to make a christening cake with a little baby figurine on top but no one would do it before 31st July so that's why I offered to try and help although I am by no means professional but I've managed a few family specials before.

So I discovered this morning that my tops no longer cover my belly so I was a bit sad but Elwyn said it's fine for me to go see if PQ clothing has some long tops. In total between PQ clothing and Jet I got 5 tops and a pairb of stretchy bottoms for a total of R145 which I didn't think was too bad. I adore Wollies clothing but sadly our budget doesn't stretch to that anymore but also for the few months I'll need long tops it's just not worth spending too much. To be honest I don't need bottoms at the moment, Mine are all baggy again but I just want stretch bottoms that I can wear around the house and after the C-sec. R20 for a pair of bottoms, I can't even make them for that price.

Ally- you know what, you ccan make a nice little business out of doing kiddies parties and showers etc and if you provide it all on disposable platters then you can drop and leave and not have to clear up after these people and their parties. Also no breakages with disposables so no refudable deposit and all that nonsence that goes with it. Maybe you can do a healthy but nice range of finger foods for kids a bit like jessica Seinfeld (sp) and her hiding veggies in choc cake! Just think how well that would go down with the higher class of mommy, those with the extra bucks to pay your nice price tag!!! You could run a small but 'different' party foods business, something you don't get from everyday finger foods!

O.k so as much as I'm not looking forward to the 4'C mid morning temp prediction I am looking forward to seeing everyone and since I haven't missed 1 meet yet I guess I will be braving the cold and seeing everyone tomorrow! Must actually remember the camera ( not that you'll recognise anyone through hats and scarfs LOL)

You know, I have never felt so much love for C as I do now, his first 6 months I loved him but I really didn't like him but now I just love him to bits and every day it gets better. Anyone who tells you that a bond comes instantly after birth is lucky, mine didn't but I'm sure over time it has become just as strong as those who felt it instantly.

I am definately not a newborn person, babies are not my thing, when they become little people then they're great! If my body could handle it I would love my babies to come out at the age of 18m! Well I suppose 18m of not much fun is a scratch compared to the decades of fun we're gonna have!

Oh Leigh- I'm really sorry to hear DH didn't get the job! Next one hopefully, I'm sure shift work isn't nice for a family.

Simone- you have been quiet! Everything o.k? Any idea when you'll hear about your interview?

hehehe! I would rather go without food than go without DSTV, but then again I am a full-fledged tv addict! hehehe

Leigh, I have a lot of Cupcake ideas myself because I used to bake for clients while I was pregnant. I love Martha Stewart's site for ideas too.

We are watching this show on Discovery now. Cake Boss. It's about this guy who has a cake business, if you have DSTV you must watch it Leigh. Very cool!

I like fingerfoods. I thought about going into it one day but not now sadly. No ventures while kiddies are so small. And husband on shift.
