I can't wait to see everyone again tomorrow!! YIIPPEEE!!!

Bryce slept so well last night, he had Fishaways with us for dinner and bombed out at 18h30 - so I proceeded to relax by having a nice long bath, doing a face scrub & mask....mmmmm pure indulgence! Lets see if I get time to shave my legs too tonight! HA HA

Leigh- wow busy busy, I hope kids (including the big one) get better soon! Did you see the mayonaise tip? LOL I want to see if it works but not on myself.

Ally- go for it! Nosipo won't ask you if she doesn't think you can't do it and besides, it's a bit of pocket money for you!

Oh that reminds me, I have been asked to help a friend make her LB's christening cake, does anyone have a good recipie for a valinna sponge that will sit well under plastic icing?

Nayeela- thanks, she's just having a rough patch in her relationship, it happens to the best of us, her problem is she's pretty much alone where she is.

Ladies who have taken their LO for 18 month inject - did they give the LO polio drops? Dont know how they going to achieve this with K?

Just a quick post as lots to do, thought I'd give you a quick update, Oliver woke up with a poop this morning so I decided definitely time to take him to the doc. He still seems fine, his appetite was back this morning and he's still keeping himself well hydrated and no fever or anything but its been more or less 5 days now so thought it best to go see an expert Doc says he's probably got a parasitic infection (most likely from playing in the sand which sounds about right as my child is forever playong in the sand and getting dirty in the garden) so he's got some very mild antibiotics plus a binder that also has antibiotics in it which should hopefully help, he's promised me that they won't aggravate the nappy rash (I hate those yellowy poos they get from antibiotics) so hoepfully he'll be on the mend now. He's also got thrush but the doc says that won't clear up until we get the tummy to chill out so got hiim some probiotics and must just continue with the Covospor. Doc says Diarrhea often doesn't bother kids at this age and is very common but its the nappy rash that comes with it that's the issue. He says we could leave it without treatment and eventually Oliver's body will fight it off but that means I'll still be fighting the nappy rash and thrush so its best to treat it with mild antibiotics so that we can get him back to having a comfortable bottom again. Its so awful to see him with such a red bum and I've been doing everything possible to make it more comfortable but because the poos are so frequent there's just no way to avoid it.

Will see how we go for the rest of the day and will log in a bit later, hopefully the meds have started working so fingers crossed I'll make it tomorrow...watch this space! I've been so looking forward to seeing you all and I really don't want to cancel.

well, finished the first cake, Ben10 cake is finished too I think. Just got the Disney car to do, its covered in icing I just have to put all the outer bits on. Then I have to make the small cars to go on the cupcakes. Then I have to start with the muscleman cake. Here's a pic of what its mean to look like...this comes from Charley's bakery.
I'm not so worried about the cakes anymore - this one has to be delivered in Retreat for tomorrow, with so many sick in the house I could have done without. Oh well.
Just had a yummy saladish sandwich. My brain told me to go to Pick and Pay and buy a pie. I didn't.
I was also good at the Spur last night. Grilled chicken and baked potato. Wonder what the scale will say tomorrow.
Right, whizzing off again.
PS I did take the girls to the clinic. They only have one type of antibiotic but hoping it works on Renee.
