I think I'll specialise in fingerfoods. Just so much easier, I never want to feel overwhelmed. Oi vey...birthday cakes...Depends on what you want. I don't have any shapes etc. I can do different tiers but I've never even done that, the twins' birthday in November will be my first. So We'll have to chat about it.

I'm only doing finger foods for the parents - so about 1 dozen of any assortment will be fine. I'd say about 7 different savoury & 4 different sweet things?

I sent her a message now asking how many people will be attending. I don't want to cater for more than 50 for my first time. And maybe it is something I'd really enjoy. But I've decided that I will only do small-ish functions in the mornings and afternoons. No evening functions. And I'll only do babyshowers, kitchen teas, kiddies parties, lunches and brunches. Simple functions. So maybe that's my new career hehehe.

Leigh, I've already given her ideas of what I would make. 3 different types of crostini. Chicken liver pate, Cream cheese+avo+sweet chilli sauce and Cream cheese+cherry tomatoes+basil pesto. Mini lamb & feta meatballs and sausage rolls. Mini brownies, cupcakes and maybe mini cheesecakes.
