Julz Shrey did those huge pukes only for about 3 days and I would get soaked ... not lekker ... and the smell

Helen & Angie your boys are not alone Shrey moans for everything, everyday. I cannot make a move without him moaning. And at times he doesn't just want to be on my hip, his hand must be inside my shirt as well I keep thinking that one of these days I will loose my cool

Julz - glad you found a solution for Dylans sleep through. We also had a hiccup this week, HE wakes between 3 and 4 AMMMMM every night. and screams , but i mean screams, but after RUNNING in for 3 nights in a row, all he wanted was to CALL Me! so last night I didnt go in and he stopped crying within 2 minutes and went back to sleep.

Nicole - i really just wanna tell you that when cam wakes up at 5am, I just ignore him! REALLY, i leave him and he can do what he want - its just like sleep training.. I go in as early as I can - on week days thats after I get ready so about 06h30 and on week ends between 06h30 and 07h00.. unless he wakes after 7am then i get up! He now moans a bit and just waits and often i go in he is wide awake but waiting for me - either lying down or standing up..

Nelria - I know those projectiles and theres is NOTHING WORSE - you just have to MOVE out of the way!! it is from the phlem build up! so your paeds advice will help. It even happend with CAM in my car 3 times!!! I would have to pull over and wipe him down and drive to where i was going before changing him!! If you want you can call the baby clinic at Olivedale - they have qualified nurses who deal with newborns and crying moms on the phone often - ( yes I called crying a few times) There number is 011 777 2176.

Seems like you all had a good night. AFM we had a good weekend. Was good to see my sister, hubby and lb, can't believe her youngest is so tall!! He is a real couch potato , my siter laughed at me for chasing him from the tv to go play outside. E is SOOOO busy and he don't want to do anything without his mother. I'm so tired!!! When we go to my mom's place I can rest, because he keeps himself busy, but he was constantly looking for my attention. Couldn't help my mom with anything! He is really "ma-vas" and I don't know how to get him to change to "Pa-vas".

Helen I think we've got the same kids!! E also throw tantrums galore and it is tiring and very annoying...

Ally I wish I could sleep till 9, so jealous now!!

Angie and Simone sorry about what you are going through at this moment. Things will get better and don't compare yourself with others! I use to be like that, always comparing myself to what my sisters have, nice cars, big houses and then my late brother said to me. "I think are better off than your 2 sisters, you have a better heart than them" and since that day I stopped comparing me to others. Your ship will come and you will have no debt!!

NicoleP so sorry about Keiran waking early, Ethan use to be like that and now I only bath him at 8 and then off to bed at 9. I know it is too late, but otherwise I don't get to sleep till six! I love your DF idea of writing his own vows. That is so romantic, You lucky fish!!! Hows to planning going??

Julz omw luckily K hardly ever use to vomit and little dribbles of milk use to come out of his mouth now and again.

Okay so Im not alone! Helen, Nelria and Angie my BOY HAS BECOME THE SAME! there is a tantrum for everything these days and they last for at least 10 min!! I thought i was the only one with a child acting like a brat Sho its hard to keep calm with him but screaming and smacking doesnt work!! Asked his teacher what should i do and she said turn your back on him and let him see you not paying attention. EASIER said than done though!!

So my strategic plan for "no more 5 O clock wakings" is to number 1 play rought and tough with him up until 18:00 then have quiet time. At 18:30 df and I eat so will give him something to snack on as he eats at 17:00. Then after 7de Laan, pop him in the bath for 20min, ready story and then pop him into bed with a 250ml bottle of milk.....and then hold thumbs for the best.

Yoza, I'm also so lazy. Did like 2 bags now and I'm tired hehehehe. Almost done though. It's a lot less than I thought and I just threw half of it away. The other stuff I'm giving to my maid and to the friends that are pregnant that I promised stuff to.

Ang, nope, my GP even told me that I wont get an appointment earlier than the 10th of Aug. He says Orthopedic surgeons are very busy...

Hello ladies

So work has been really hectic but other than that I am doing well.

Ally, I still haven't even started sorting my stuff as I at least want DH to finish painting the lounge and the dinigroom. It's not even that big but I guess for now I will have to wait until the end of the WC to get anything done...

Helen, Cole has always been a Tjankie-Balie (Cry baby) and it's getting worse and now I am just leaving him. DH is getting irritated by it now as he was always the one giving into Cole's manipulation ..so now atleast when Cole is moaning/crying he shouts DADDY all the time...still irritating for me though.

Cole is well and really enjoying school and becoming such a big boy (besides all the nagging) but atleast he still sleeps well.

Last night DH and I had our first date night in gazillions of years and we went to the movies to watch Twilight Eclipse...I really enjoyed it and it just gets better all the time....and Jacob in those shorts really does it for me. We really had lots of fun and Cole apparently was well behaved with his babysitter.

Nelria, shame man, I hope you can figure out what's up with Xen and the puking.

Angie, I am so glad that you were able to vent here with us and the ladies are really amazing here and such great support. I really hope that things get better for you, DH and CJ.

On saturday my brother and his group sang at the WC Fanjol in Khayalitsha. Cole was really cute and was dancing with all the other kids to the music. I must say that they kids the Xhosa kids have such natural rhythm and it was so entertaining watching them and they had so much fun with all this free entaintment and free gifts they won.

Now I don't remember what else to say but will try and log in again later.
