Okay I typed out long post and then everything went away???

Anyway not much time to chat.

Glad that some of you had such good nights. I'm with Nicole, he went to sleep way too early and woke up early and woke up inbetween.

Julz I have BB curve. Used to it now so it's not too bad. It used to be very slow with browsing but the last month it's been much much faster so I'm enjoying it more.

Nelria Shrey also had a couple days around 4 weeks old that he did projectile vomits and it went away all on it's own. I panicked and took him to paed, she prescribed losec I think but he never needed it cos it stopped all on it's own. Hopefully same for Xen. Oh and that's when he started sleeping in our bed and never been out since

Chat later ladies!

morning ladies

i have to brag both babies slept through.

Buhle slept from 8pm to 5am. she woke up for a feed and slept again. No leaking nappy. thx to huggies dry comfort. She woke up with a cough this morning. I think she might have gotten it from my dad.

Siba is not well either he is coughing and has a snotty nose. luckily i have meds that sorted him out the last time. so hopefu;ly in five days he will be fine. and were not winning with the sterimar even if i use it whilst he is sleeping he wakes up the minute he feels something moving towards his nose. i have to hold him down so the i administer the meds. not nice.

Nelira Dylan was a projectile puker. Horrible! He puked after every second feed until he was 10 months old. Hence his low weight.

We still don't know why. My doc used to say as long as he didn't cry with the puke we shouldn't worry. Don't stress about ops yet. There are other meds that the doc can give for reflux. I suggest if it continues much longer take him to the paed. Shame.

He may just be taking on too much milk??? Perhaps your flow is too strong. Apparently lying on your back reduces flow a bit??

Thanks Lwasi. x

Okay so dylan has been waking at 11 every night for 3 weeks I think. I couldn't figure out what is wrong. I went back to the basics and realised that he has his bottle in the lounge and in the past I would take him through to his cot awake, but lately I have allowed him to fall asleep with us so last night I put him to bed awake. Snot en trane, but he slept throught. I have my fingers crossed as I type this, but hopefully things will return to normal.

Anyone got the blackberry curve?

julz got your pm - very cool girl

vix - what on earth is coconut cake? me dont like crunchie things in my teath :)

ara/simone i dont know what to say girls but strongs, hugs and lots of love

I dont have any accounts either as I believe in cold hard cash - SNAP VIX

mandy - now here u get to my topic girl - lea gets carried and picked up EVERYWHERE - she weighs 13 kg's give or take and she never gets put down or the world ends!!!!!! we call her our contact child as our option is carrying her, sitting down with her on our lap or booking into an asylum after dealing with tantrum due to not doing it - my susters 2nd child was the same and it continues till they about 3 and 18kg - but i have made peace with it not carrying xen around though to make up for lea

yoza - buhle man she is lekker round - tooooooo cute though

nicole - sweetttttttt your man

ok ladies so lea puked on sund but after tea it went away o yesterday xen started projectile vomiting after a feed - up to now didnt need spoegdoek, so alot of milk comes out so brett went to get gaviscon for reflux and since yesterday here is his feeds

12 - vomit
4 - vomit
7 - kept down
12 - kept down
4 - vomit
7 - so far keeping down

but the only problem is he is tugging at the breast like crazy while feeding so not getting much in to start with (this is new thing since wknd too)
I thought my milk was low but engorged now - so not it
then i thought he had winds - burping lett to puking so now i dont burp
thought nose was closed so i got more sterimar but i spray and suck no snot

if any of u went through this? have ideas? its the tugging and throat noises driving me mad then after thinking full feed voila VOMIt in my everthing :(

dont want to consider the books reasoning as they say around 4 wks if tugging and gulping starts at boob their tummy opening too small or something and need op - so dont need any drastic solutions to this now grrrrrrrrrr

Morning mommies,

Apologies for yesterday my whole day was consumed bythe lilypie. I know it sounds weird but I wanted it so much.

Angie my friend I have to agree with Simone that just talk it out with your DH cos you might not believe it but chances are it is bothering as well but because he is blaming himself so much he also cant bring himself to talk to you about it.

Financial situations is not a nici thing to face but Angie it happens to the best of us, I was also ghoing through some major financial breakdown the last two years and the ladies can tell you I always vented and cried to them and as always they were supportive. Like Yoza the only thing that pulled me through was my faith as it does tothis day. So ya it will get better and I am so proud of you that you have managed so far no matter how difficult it was and is still is.

Vix its so sad re sil especially considering that she is DH only relative. Thanks for Simone's offer may you stay blessed Vix, I am so happy that I really can call a person of your stature a friend. You just humble me.

Ally I am so happy that you are positive aboput Abi's situation and I know that if anyone can pull through this its you, you are so strong... Hugs my friend.

Nicole thats very sweet of you DF and I guess that makes you to look forward to the wedding, I know that I am.

Yoza your babies are just too good for words abd they look so alike stjoe... Buhle is like Siba so much. Glad that they are treating mommy so well, you deserve it my friend/.

Nelria I also have to applaud Xen for his sleeping pattern, you are so fortunate, I am sorry that he is a bit sick hope he gets better soon.

Juls your photos are so nice, Dylan is so cute with his Vuvuzela on his father's back.

LAdies I have hit a blank, just to say hello to other mommies, Lisha, Angelique, Christi, Simone, MissK, Helen, Lelanie, Mandy I hope I have missed anyone. Love you guys.
