Guys a question...my friend is getting married out of town. The RSVP date is end of August...but her bridesmaid mailed me in May already to ask if there is anyway I can confirm immediately as bride wants to finalise invites.Now why give and RSVP date?

To me i read: If you can tell us now that you are NOT coming we'd like to put somebody else in your place.

Thing is...its out of town...so petrol, accommodation at hotel and i cant take Addison... My friend and I were VERY close like 5 years ago...but truth be told we maybe comment on each other's fb status once a month and thats it...she moved away shortly before I got married but came down for wedding.

So by chance she mailed me and I thought i'd ask if it was the case, because if it is then due to me possibly not being employed, I dont wanna drop her later and she can then take my spot to give to somebody else.

She said...No not at all BUT SHE WILL THEN PUT US DOWN AS A PROBABLY NOT FOR NOW! She then made me aware of the fact that its not just petrol costs, but gift, accommodation, etc.

I didnt mean i dont want to go...but i think she also knows we arent close anymore...so if i dont come its not the worst thing in the world. Then i can rather give a R500 cash voucher instead of petrol,etc. She can add other people on guest list, i save money? Win win?

Or am i reading too much into it?

LOL Simone, funny should mention 'classes'. The other day C and I were also talking about it and I asked what we are. So I said I think we are upper middle class and he says "Your dad is...we are lower, low class" LOL. It was actually so funny! But a bit depressing realising that that's the truth lol

Guys i was a BAD mother this weekend! I watched TWENTY episodes of Ugly Betty between Saturday 7pm and Sunday 11pm!

G said last night i barely looked at him, spoke to him...and i barely spent time with Addison!!! I feel so BAD!! Will try and make up tonight...with both of them!

Guys i tried to call MIL earlier to give her a piece of my mind...but luckily for the cow...she wasnt home! lol

Hmm Lisha....sneaky DH!!! Lol @ him not getting lucky! Oh and so cute Shreyan counting buttons! He and Dylan are counting high up already!!!

Addy saw balloons on tv and was counting them...luckily there were only 3 balloons...there could have been 4 but after that she'd be screwed!

Vix thanks so much for the offer:-) Will keep it in mind. A friend also offered me her lg's clothes to give them and whatever stuff she has that they wont use again. Will see what she gets (man i feel like a bum!lol)

Vix you are so right...I always thought we were middle class...and the G asked me the other day what we are...and i said baby...We are like low class! He said: No ways (denial!)....so what about the poor poor people?? i said well i dont think people have a name for below low class so i'll call it no class...where we are headed for! lol.

Mandy we are fortunate to have the support of family. I feel so bad...my sister is 21...but this month she had to pay my mom's rent...her bf borrowed us a little bit of money....but she pulled it together and really came through for us...even wanted to take out a loan for us (against my wishes) but because she is at new job on probation bank wont give loan....but some people dont have that support. I still battle cause i havent paid all my accounts this month (in 2 months truworths account will be just a bad memory!WOO HOO!!!) but i paid the rent...my child is sorted...we have food...some people cant say that so i know i cant feel too sorry for myself.

And we will get there.

You gals are such a great group! I tell you...you make it a little hard for me to have a pity party cause you all bring such a smile to my face;-)

Angie....you are surrounded by friends here...I hope you and your DH will talk about this. You cant carry all this inside...it will make you so depressed and sad and angry and and and....
