OMW Sher, that is HORRIFIC! Your poor poor colleague I cannot begin to imagine what they must be going through!

I am paranoid about toilets. The midwife who did the ran our baby goup had a lady whos baby girl died when she fell into the toilet, because toddlers are top heavy...

The ENT told me to come in today. Went there, he cleaned out all the gross stuff in his ears. He just has a head cold. But because of the grommets the stuff that would be collecting behind the ears and giving him another infection. Its a relief that it's nothing worse. I have drops I have to mix with his illiadin, I have to clean his ears morning and night and put drops in there too.

makes us complain less

a lady here at work, her grandson of 1 year died last night, the apple of her eye

he died cause "his bath water was being or was run" and he fell into the bath and got 40% burns. he was rushed to hospital and had convulsions, choked to death

I was so shocked to see the mail, as she sent us an email with pics of her golden boy. i cant imagine how the mother feels, who was watching him when it happened. just so so scary

he was only 1 year old..... no mother should have to go through this, no matter whose fault it is...

thats was always a worry to DH and I. we always run either both hot and cold water together or run cold first and then some hot water... cause these little buggers, even Kiara stands there and watches me run her bath. i am petrified of anything.... even the toilet seat is always down and closed.

anyway, just was sad to hear this ....

Cols, hope nothing serious with Evans ear - let us know what the doc says As for the milk, I will be putting her on regular cows milk! Paed says its fine and costs alot less than Nido or First Growth or whatever - he says that is more of a money making thing that anything else really. They are meant to be getting their vitamins from their food at that age and you can give a daily multivitamin which has far more goodness in it than the Nido's and First Growths. So, I'm going with regular cows milk.

Evan's ears had crusty stuff in them this morning. As in his 1 ear is covered in grossness! I cannot get to the dr at all today, none of the doctors can see Evan before tomorrow Any suggestions on what I can do. He has no fever and is eating... He has a bit of a stuffy nose at the moment and started with a small cough. And he has 2 little blisters on the rim of his lip that look like fever blisters, is that even possible?

My nephew was born this morning and we have to go there tonight - i hardly slept last night I was so excited - and I am now all naff because something is wrong with Evan again

Feel like I'm really missing out nowadays.

Well Kaylee now has middle ear infection, a red throat and a fever. Doc says possibly RSV.
More antibiotics much stronger this time and no going out till Monday.
Doc says DH * I should also stay home and all get better together, but he has no more sick leave left and I have my last 2 days of training to do so no staying home for me

Gonna ask MIL to take a sick day 2mor to help and my mom on Friday. My boss must be so sick of this. Thankfully he has a 1yr old boy whose recently been sick so he kind of understands.

To top it off I have this head cold and cant take anything at night as I still feed K, and my period is on its way, 1st time in 18months!!!

Jeanine, I'm soo jealous! Enjoy the ballet! We took the girls to see Swan Lake few years back. Dressed them nicely in dresses etc. Seeing that Abigail wants to be a classical ballerina, we took her to see the Russian group that toured SA.

I'm also slowly getting things organised for Iz's party. Went to see the party planner last week for her cake. I want a 3 dimensional Castle with towers. Got my quote yesterday....R450. Just hope I'm not dissapointed. We don't really have venue's to choose from, so that's still a huge headache. I finally sourced my theme as mentioned in a previous post. I'm getting some stuff from a shop in PE and the rest from the UK. Unfortunately I'll be going ape on this one.

U guys are superstars, always making me feel better. The shut will hopefully be over by the weekend.

However Abby is doing her final grade modern (dance) exam this weekend or the next so we'll either be rehearsing or sitting at examinations.

Life is hectic, but I am sooo enjoying my girls. Seriously, I love every moment I spent with them. And funny enough Iz is the easiest one of them all! Pre-teens is a breed all on their own!

Kerry, that is a lovely idea. I hope you get your way... Maybe grandpa can put money toward that instead? We would love to come. We are doing a combo Baptism / Birthday party for Evan. It just worked out that way. We can only do the classes in July and it was the 1st date available at the church after that. So he'll turn one on the 5th and be Baptised on the 7th.

BabyK, we went to see JCSS when Barry and I 1st started dating. He doesnt even remember going. He took me for something like our 3 month-iversary... It was really brilliant. Swan lake and Nut Cracker are my 2 favourite ballets of all time. I am so glad J is doing so well! I love your cake idea! How cute!

Charn, are you just going to give Clover or something or will you do Nido or Nespray or something?
