Iz is slowly figuring out rooms are connected in the house...didn't want her to know actually

Had to take Abby to the doc this morning, her foot decided it had enough dancing, she got some bad inflamation. Bad timing though...dance exam in 5 days .


Iz is starting with a runny nose again....darn toofies! Has this happened to you? One of her tooth cut and then a day later it was missing nowhere to be found!

This morning Abby put her Milo cup down to quickly run to the loo, when I got to the lounge Iz got hold of it trying to drink from the cup!!!!! These little chickens are getting too clever. Madam pulled over my diningroom table yesterday! Luckily it didn't land on her...imagine that!!! Only for her to continue her distruction in the kitchen yanking the veggie rack down. Kinda figured Iz got her dads strong arms.

Hahaha this morning I woke up and Iz was drinking her bottle, she took it herself! Bargain! She searches for her dummy in her sleep by herself, if we can do this with the bottle we home free. My stepmoms' daughter used to put 3 dummies in her boys' cot....they bound to find 1 and put it in their mouth!

So it appears my child did not miss me too much on Wednesday night!!

she fell asleep at 8:05PM and my mom put her in her campcot (first time in the campcot) and she slept through until 5:30AM, drank a bottle and went straight back to sleep until 8:15AM!!! She as having so much fun when we fetched her there yesterday afternoon

DH and I had a great time - dinner was fun and we slept in yesterday morning, then dh brought me breakfast in bed We went to see Hangover 2 and then had some lunch before we went to get Emily - felt weird not having her around, but was nice to have some alone time. I had an hour long bath yesterday morning - bliss!!

Hope everyone else had a great holiday and that some of you are hopefully having a long weekend - I am working until 13:00

Cols - YAAAY on little Evans first attempt at crawling... don't worry he wil be much much faster soon!

K now pulls herself up on say the couch and will then turn around and take a step to the ottoman, then with one hand placed very very loosely she walks around the ottoman... over and over again... LOL she doesn't need the support of the ottoman as she doesn't really use it... just the security... when she looses balance she puts her hand down on the ottoman...

Amlost there huh?

In the mean time now we have started using the ottoman and a box to stop her leaving the lounge... otherwise you spend a whole night fetching her from the passage, dogs water bowl, bird cage... back door... kitchen... at least when we block her off she plays where we can keep an eye on her

The bad part is she has gotten smart to it... she goes to the box and tries to climb over... then she will try push it out the way and when all else fails she cries! a full on tantrum!

Anyhow, yes Josh is feeling better, but he is now at the dentist coz his filling came out yesterday.... the gods seem to have it in for him! LOL

BabyK - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! How was your show & dinner??? You enjoy getting pampered? What are you doing today?

PM - I think it would be awesome for Iz to have a little brother or sister to keep her company. Especially when she's a little older and her big sisters are all grown up... I am so sorry, It will take time for it to heal. It is still so fresh in your minds.

We had a nice time out. Didnt get much sleep though I missed Evan terribly on Wednesday night but I do need to give some time to DH and I...

Kerry - How're you all doing? Is Josh feeling better? I was also warned about measle symptoms and a rash about 10 days after... Its hard to tell as Evan has a cold anyway

Well Evan surprised me a lot this week. He stands and cruises a llittle but was not pulling himself up on things. Tuesday he was sitting looking at the coffee table, next thing he was pulling himself up on it. Yesterday we went to fetch him from granny and he decided he wanted a toy. He got on his tummy and then he started CRAWLING! He is finally crawling. He can get quite fast when he sees something he wants!

Kerry, I also didn't get the memo, though I was suppose to only have 1 child this weekend, but is ending up with all 3. The ex phoned and said he not taking the girls. Funny how he can chop and change but when I want Grace for HER bday party he gets his panties in a twist yelling at the kids they must choose between me and him. WTF?!?!? Oh AK47 where art thou?

I don't mind all my chickens, Iz gets all niggly when her sisters isn't here. Hence the reason for considering another lambchop.


Hallelujah hockey is now finished. Had a rough afternoon yesterday, fetching the girls from school at 12 rushing to our neighbouring town for sports, feeding them afterwards, then Abby had to dance at the studio which we only left at 7 last night. DH came home at about 9 from church and was called out to work at 1am....haven't returned since. Urgh.... Seriously considering getting a job, this SAHM stuff is hectic.

Still need to find a date for Abby's bday party, as they are dancing in Durban on her birthday. And the following weekend I have to take and fetch Grace at the Drakensberg for a Landservice camp.
And then.....SCHOOL HOLIDAY........


I think we all took a big blow with Candice and Mark's tragic death. Sunday in church I spoke to a girl thats getting married in September, and for the life of me I could not be happy and excited for her. My first thought was, "ja just hope you don't die before then". How off is that?!?!?!?!

Winter can seriously be over now so all of you can get better!

Charnenay,Cols,Babyzee - Did i miss the memo? Perhaps i should send K off to my parents for the night too? My dad seems to enjoy it soo much! Nah no big plans for the public holiday... i guess just nursing DH

BabyZee - great to hear from you! Yes i am much better.... its DH who is sick now! And Little K had her injections yesterday, but she cried more to get the toy that the nurse had than she did for the injections! So far no symptoms but i was warned that she could get a rash sometime in the next two weeks. Seeing as she still has troubles with exzema i'll bet she will get it.

Sonay - Have fun at the hairdresser! And on the teeth, yep i am afraid so! The only other 0 on our little list is Lerato but i'll bet that is just because we haven't heard from her in months! They will come! Along with some serious niagra falls quality druel.

All you ladiesgoing out and spend some quality time with your man, without the kids: I AM SUPER JEALOUS !!!! But enjoy every minute of it. You DESERVE it.

That is probably one of the reasons why I would move back to the Cape, just to be close to family.

Congrats on the toothies, Babyzee. Am I the only one left with a baby with a toothless grin?

As for the rash linked to the measles vac, the clinic sister told me she might have a runny nose and mild cold-like symptoms, which she now has. And then around 10 days after she may or may not develop a rash, starting behind the ears and can last for a couple of hours to a day. Glad to hear you all experienced it without a hassle.

I'm also having my hair cut tomorrow. It is WAAAAYYYY overdue, suprised no one told me yet about all my split ends We have a birthday party to go to on Thursday, kids have to go with (on request of the birthday guy), Friday the Pta zoo with friends from Jhb. Sat I will probably take my son to watch Kungfu Panda and to just spend some 1-on-1 time with him.
