Hi Mommie,

I wrote a long post yesterday and lost it all, so here we go again.

I hope all the mommies and babies are recovering well, there is a terrible flu bug going around.

PinkMommy are you thinking of having another one with three i can hardly control my two, you are one brave lady.

Girly i hope you and Kaylee are better now, i dont have plans for a party since my family is not here i will probably buy a cake and just take some photos.

KerryA glad you are getting better howz little K?

Robyn just give her work that will give her occupied for hours that will get her out of your hair something useless would be cool

Charnenay, Cols & BabyKMom enjoy your time off its great when you get a break you miss them and you will be so energised by the time you see them, thank God for Mom hey? (I am so Jelous)

Sonay Fayaz got a rash a couple of days after, the nurse had warned me so i wasent alarmed.

Ladies i took Fayaz for a follow up at the ENT on Monday he was happy with the progress so no grommets he just gave me nasal drops for the next six months.

Bad news is that my LG needs grommets so tomorrow afternoon she is having them put in.

On a good note KerryA you can finally add Fayaz to the list of toofies two have popped out, my LG also got her first at 10 months, hey i get to eat pancakes tonight.

O.k i have to go serve supper i told DH i first have to share the news with my girls, he thought i was jocking

Forgot to say - Emily had a rash about 10 days after her measles jabs!!!! I never knew that could happen, so I had no idea what it was! Girly do you remember? you and Yaz still came to visit that Saturday!

wow we are all letting go of the 'control' a bit for some much needed couple time I see! John is going to my folks on thursday afternoon and we are fetching him friday lunchtime. Its my birthday on friday so Si is taking me to Jesus Christ Superstar on Thurs matinee performance and then we're going out for dinner to the same restaurant where we got married - Da Vincenzos in Kyalami. I CAN'T WAIT!!!
All this provided J is better but I really think he is better, he has not had panado today yet and so far so good. He was coughing but I gave him some prospan. And his appetite is back with a bang

Sonay, did you mention a rash after the jabs? Funny, John got some bumps on his left cheek a few days ago and I just thought they were part of him being sick and teething but maybe they're from his measles jabs cos it was about 10 days after. I thought the nurse told me to look out for them between 4 and 7 days after so I wasn't connecting the dots, so to speak (cheesy I know). Maybe its also why J has been sick cos his immune system was compromised a bit?

Kerry, John officially has 5 teeth now - his 2nd left incisor is out!

Cols, finished yesterdays projects only to be slapped with more today, but its all good. Tomorrow I go have my hair done and I'm officially 'off from work' until Monday so I don't mind working my ass off today, in between looking after King Johnny of course.
Si might have found another bakkie, he testdrove it today and is happy with it but now we wait for the AA test and we don't want to get our hopes up so we are keeping neutral. I still need to do my hello peter complaint ,just been so busy with this other work.

Enjoy Cols I am ok'ish with this because she is with my mom everyday and knows her well. She is not fond of Dh's parents AT ALL - she screams if they come near her! So needless to say, its been months since she has stayed with them without me there. It's there own fault though - they don't really make an effort to see her, so I don't blame her for screaming when they take her. So, I only have my mom really who can babysit for me. She is fine with my sister, but she has her own 2 kids and they are high maintenance. So, I have left her with them for like 30 minutes or 1 hour while I do something quick, but not longer than that.

Barry's mom will pick Evan up from school tomorrow (half day) and he is staying there tomorrow night. I have to give her a list of instructions. I'm missing him ALREADY

We're going out tomorrow night with some friends and will pick him up on Thursday.

I have let him stay at my mom over night before. I hope he is ok with his other granny. She loves him very much and is good with him. She has taken him for the afternoon / evening before but he's never slept over there.

Hey ladies - everyone is so sick at the mo - hope everyone gets better soon.

Thankfully Emily only has a bit of a blocked nose at night, but we are using the Karvol drops so at least its not keeping her up at night = she has been sleeping much better - I just hope it lasts!!!

She is going home with my mom tomorrow night!!!! Can't believe I'm going to let her do this!! She will sleep by my mom on Wednesday while DH and I go out for dinner with friends and then sleep in on THursday morning, then we going for some brunch on Thursday afternoon and going to see a movie afterward, then we fetching her on Thursday afternoon. DH will stay with her on Friday and we''ll give my mom the day off and I will only work half day. Can't wait for some time alone with DH Gonna miss my baba though, but I know she'll be fine with my mom - I sometimes think she likes my mom more than us anyway

Thanks so much. Last night was MUCH better. Got Evan Demazin syrup at the pharmacy. He had his bottle at 6, didnt want to eat his dinner. Was hanging out with his dad and I in the kitchen. I decided to try feed him some of my dinner. Bangers, mash and peas. Well I could not get it in his mouth fast enough!

He had his bath and muti and only woke for the 1st time at 4. Unfortunately it was a massive coughing fit, I think everything's loosening up now so it caused him to throw up. He did not want to get up when I took him to bath him and change his linen. 5am he was back asleep and apparently only got up after 8am!

Girly, i REALLY pray you get better ASAP! You've really been through the ringer (again). How's K doing? When are you leaving for G BAY? Im sure the break will do you the world of good! Evan loves blowing spit bubbles, he gathers up his spit and then sticks his tongue out and goes brrrrrrrr (sort of). He loves grabbing peoples noses, hair and putting his fingers in our mouths to play with our teeth

BabyK, how's John? I hope he is feeling MUCH better? Has DH found another car? Has there been any recourse on Investment cars? Did you get your project done? Doing calpol, neurofen, Karvol in the humidifier and Karvol rub on his chest back and soles of his feet. Now doing Damazin too as well as the illiadin, ear drops and the nose frida (what an awesome contraption - evan hates it but it really works ) I hate giving any meds but right now I have no choice and ya, the drs have all said i must and it's fine. I just dont like it...

Kerry, I really hope you guys get better soon! Poor K, i hope those teeth come now! Evan is drooling so much they keep having to change him at school and his bibs and jerseys are soaked through. I think like last time, with him being sick we wont really know when he is teething...

Sher, I hope Kiara's teething goes well. How is she at the moment? How is your colleague holding up?

PM, how are the preparations going for Thursday? How gorgeous that Iz is getting so many words in her vocab already! WOW! Evan is say mama and dada to us, that's about it...
Going on a mini break next weekend. Some place near clarens. They've got a special R 295 pp incl breakfast. Doesnt look too bad and I just need a break. www.cookhouse.co.za
