August-September 2010 Moms

Hi ladies
Sorry have been MIA but my dad passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly on
Thurs afternoon and his funeral/mermorial is tomorrow, plus I'm trying to do the handover to my temp and I don't think I can make it til the 21st at work - def don't think McK will wait til the 8th, so am going to chat to my doc at my 36wk scan on Wed about going off earlier

Saddest part about my Dad is that he will never meet his new granddaughter

Dakota is so pretty and from the photo's I cant even tell that you are pregnant! You are looking really good.

Its been really quiet here. I have been so busy at work and haven had a chance to post really.

WE are doing good. The house is coming alone nicely. We done with the kitchen and now we just doing a little bit every month.

Emily is doing good, she has been going to be by herself again which is great for me. She still comes running out of her room a few times at night before she eventually passes out, but we are getting there. At least we dont have any tears !!! YAY!

I am lookig at sending her to school halfday from January - now just to find the right school! and then to hope that they have place for her at this late stage. Initially we were going to wait until 2014, but I think she is ready now.

Potty training is going well. She is still sleeping with a nappy and we still using a nappy if we going to be out for an extended period of time. But at home she uses the toilet all the time. She sometimes tells us when she needs to go, but for the most part we are trying to put her on the toilet every half hour or so.

She is enjoying her playroom, but only if we are in there with her or if she has a friend to play with. I wish she would play on her own, but its just not happening She needs someone with her 24/7!

Kerry - they are so funny now with the things that they say and do hey!! Emily came running out of her room last night and said to me: "Hellloooooooo Gorgeous"

Soz, was just sooo caught up in Kaelyn's zoo trip on friday and party on sunday.

WOW she loooved the zoo, We were looking at the monkeys and Josh and i happened to see an armadillo sharing their cage, so i said "look, its and Armadillo" so she pipes up "an Arma-lego" Well that was Josh and i finished....

Then we walked past a tractor and she climbed onto the trailer and proceeded to do her own little ho-down.

Such fun!

Then we had her party on sunday and it went off amazingly... the only issue, which is mine i suppose is even though i spent every night for two weeks before doing party decorations till midnight, when it came to blowing out the candles i was pushed out by Josh's mom who never sees Kaelyn and had nothing to do with the party!! Sooo Angry at DH i can't tell you, coz his dad asked him and he of course said "sure no problem"
