Hi ladies
Have not posted anything in a while, but I have been reading.
Just been sooo hectically busy and tired.
emily is much better, just super clingy after the stay in hospital. I think my poor baby was really very traumatised. She wakes up alot at night and refuses to let dh put her back to sleep - she only wants mommy. She stands up in her cot and cries and if DH goes in to see to her, she starts shaking her head no and screams mum, mum until I take her from him! He has even tried walking up and down the passage with her, but she knows I am in the room and when he passes our room, she turns her head so far back to try and see me. Its very tiring because it means I am getting up at least 5 or 6 times during the night and sometimes it takes up to 90 minutes to get her back to sleep! If I let DH go to her, she just gets worked up and then I have to go eventually and that's when it takes her long to calm down because she is irritated that I didn't come to her initially
I am also super confused about what she should be eating as the paed and clinic sister says she is underweight and that I should be giving protein and veg twice a day and that she should eat something 5 times a day. Also, that rice cakes and yoghurt are "diet food" and that she should be getting more substantial snacks?? I don't want to overfeed her and have a fat child, so I am really confused.
Emily is wearing number 4 Pampers Nappies as well. 12-18 mnth clothing firs her comfortably but most of her winter stuff i bought are 6-12!! So, I'm trying to let her wear those for a bit longer. Shoe Size is a 2.
She is now standing on her own for a few seconds and walking against the furniture and climbing up and down stairs. She waves and claps hands when asked and she can point to her eyes and nose when asked. And, still LoveS her dancing
