Cols, just say if we can bring something - not good with cooking (my speciality is also peppermint crisp tart, but I see that is taken already ) But always good for some rolls or crisp or juice.

Cols thanks for the beautician no, will give her a call today. are you sure we cant bring anything... i am not used to rocking up empty handed anywhere... what time you starting to cook, i can help. DH makes a fab potjie too. we both good cooks, always fighting in the kitchen as to who is gonna cook ha ha, if he is at home and not working late. if he is, then we both end up cooking

Cols, potjie sounds divine, DH loves potjie and lamb is nom noms. Let us help you too though (I'm no whizz in the kitchen but why don't I bring the bread or something?). DH has been working most Saturdays but its going to change to Sundays, I really hope it doesn't change until after the 5th June! But if he has to work then I'll still come

Oh my word John is being naughty now - I'm trying to put him down for his nap but he keeps flipping onto his tummy and pushing up in his crawling pose in his cot. So just now, after I'd turned him over and spoken soothingly to him, a few minutes later I hear him talking to himself, then he starts crying like he's fallen or hurt himself so I go running to his room - and the little bugger starts laughing and getting all excited that I'm back! Nothing wrong with him, back in his crawling pose and chuffed that he just tricked Mom I actually had to step out of his room and laugh quietly to myself so that I could wipe the smile off my face before I reprimanded him. Its really hard to discipline these little people when they are just so damn cute

J's on size 4 nappies, has been for a while now, since 6 or 7 months I think. Cols, I must try size 4+ for night time as we have the same problem, so many wees at night! Ja, pampers all the way - tried huggies newborns but he leaked more in them than pampers size 1's and then from size 2 onwards been using pampers. Also tried Pick n Pay nappies - not a bad substitute at all and reasonably priced - about R119 a pack.

Ja Jeanine, I also used to buy my nappies at Toys r us but we are not on Discovery anymore since DH changed jobs I've also lost my gym membership But those are the only cons, this new job is FAR better for DH than the old company he was at and that means much better for us as a family so all good. Nothing wrong with taking John for a walk around the neighbourhood in the afternoons to get a little exercise

Charne, how is Emily after hospital? Shame, lots of babies are sick, I hope they all recover super fast. Luckily John is fine at the moment. Touch wood

Kerry, that sounds delicious Ok, I will leave you in charge of desert I put veggies in the potjie but they taste like meat by the end anyway and he can always fish them out DH also loves peacan nuts and gets nostalgic over peppermint tart.

Evan has had monsterous # 2's since he was on the antibiotics. That despite all the yoghurt and probiotics I was feeding him. I have had so many leaks this last week, too gross. I hope it calms down now...

PM, It must've been heartbreaking...

Iz is doing so well! I was with my sister and nephew yesterday and it made me grateful that Evan doesnt crawl yet! omw, he's a looney in his walking ring but at least I can take him out of that. I do not know how I will cope when he starts crawling & walking! I really hope her nose clears up now and you get some rest. You must be totally exhausted by now...
