I only just moved Little K onto 4's now for the same reason above... plus the no2's that came with the teething were all leaking.

Huggies seem to work better on Kaelyn than pampers though, but maybe its a boy/gorl thing? I just wish they were softer like the pampers, but anyhow whatever works huh?

Lamb is excellent and no food allergies here... DH isn't a huge veggie fan, but its not like you are cooking stir fry or anything

are you sure we cant bring anything? I could make some butter pecan cup-cakes for desert? Or Hubbys favourite peppermint crisp tart?

Does anyone have any food allergies / food aversions? Is lamb ok?

I think just bring what you're drinking. I will do a big salad and some ciabatas. I have a good malva pudding desert that is super quick to make.

Jeanine, I hear you on the menu. I even have Annabel Karmel book and I still am not getting round to making more food. I guess I still have some stock in the freezer I want to finish 1st.

I really hope Willem gets better soon!

Huggies Gold suck I went onto them cos I heard they were better than pampers. I used them for a little while and now I am back to good old pampers. Evan is in 4+ just cos he was out weeing the nappies at night. Stage 4 were getting so full the were actually on the verge of bursting! He's been good most of the time in 4+ now.

Hi all!

Thanx so much for eveyones' prayers and thoughts. The funeral was beyond sad, yet very beautiful. Seeing her wedding dress, tiara and earrings was just the end of me. Still can't really begin to process the loss.

Iz is STILL leapard crawling with a few bunny hops and some moves where her legs sneak up on her arms.

I am taking her to the paed tomorow morning, as she still has a runny nose and has these screaming sessions.

Argh, there she's awake again, let me run!

Yeah i must admit they are brave little explorers huh?

The 5th seems to be good for everyone then!

As for food, I downloaded a few recipes from Annabel Karmel's website, so if I get time over the weekend, I'll cook 1 or 2. I feel poor Willem is not getting enough variety anymore, and I'm usually a blank when it comes to meal ideas.

Not sure if Willem is 'better' yet. I eneded up taking him to the doctor on Thursday, since he was just plain miserable and crying the whole time.
She gave him antibiotics, and the next day he was much better - definately feeling himself again. However, his nose is still running, and the cough just doesn't want to go away. And thanks to that nice post-nasal drip, we still have daily puking sessions in the mornings
At least he is sleeping fine again...

Girly, how does it feel to be a working again?

So far I'm on for the 5th. Parents-in-law are moving that weekend, but I'm sure most of the work will happen on the Saterday.
Also sure I would LOVE an excuse to rest on Sunday

Typed a nice long reply, and by the time I was half way, realised its going to be a 3 page essay - so here is the highlight package;)

Kerry and Sher - sounds like Willem too!! Willem pulls off everything he can reach, and LOVES the cat’s food and water bowls – our lounge and kitchen (in an open plan flat) is now separated using the panels from the play pen, tied to the side of the kitchen table.

We don’t have stairs in the flat, and Willem isn’t allowed to go anywhere NEAR the stairs in SIL’s house (very high, sharp tile edges). But DH loves putting the spare single bed mattress on the floor, and Willem’s been climbing all over that – even used it as a step up onto the couch Friday night – to come and climb onto my lap.

So, on Saturday I’m at DH’s aunt’s house, and they have 3 steps outside the kitchen door – next second Willem just goes up – didn’t even hesitate, just up, up, up.

Didn’t bother going to the expo (didn’t even realise it’s on till Friday) – and comparing the nappy prices BabyKsmom posted, I STILL get it cheaper at Toys R us using my discovery vouchers.
What nappies/ sizes is everybody using?
I've been using Pampers Active - currently on size 3. Tried a pack of (old) Huggies gold (size 3), and HATED it. Every second nappy leaks!
Now going back to pampers, but considering going to size 4.

As for cloth – I mentioned it once, before he was even born, and the look on MIL’s face said it all – and too be honest, I’m too lazy washing his clothes more than twice a week, not sure if I would have coped with the nappies as well

Sher - mine actually works from her house now. Her son is the same age as your LO. You can even take your LO with. Evan and Jayden hang out whenever I go there. She is in Douglasdale, just up the road from the pick n pay. She is lovely and I have been going to her for years now.
