Oh shame Kerry

Maybe she is just not hungry? Poor K.
No I say phone your mil, you are her mom, you have a right to call as many times as you want to find out if she is drinking her bottle or not
Eileen, did you have sushi? I have been craving it so much too. Must get some soon....
Ja don't stress about the solids. First of all I've heard that most girls aren't ready for solids until 6 months anyways and also John's been on solids since 4 months and I am giving him more things as he indicates that he is hungry or curious or both. All babies are different, you're not doing anything wrong
We went to the paed for his 6-month check-up yesterday. All fine. He is more than happy with him. Says it doesn't matter that he is not rolling from back to tummy yet, that is apparently quite varied among babies.
And I can drop a milk feed now if he indicates that he doesn't want as much milk, since I'm giving him 3 solid meals a day. So the last few days he hasn't wanted to finish his mid morning or mid afternoon bottle so I thought I'd try from today. Incidentally he didn't finish his early morning bottle so I gave the rest of it (about 80ml) to him at about 11am and he was fine afterwards, didn't cry like he was hungry and now he has been napping for about 45 minutes. I will give him his fruit when he wakes and then we'll do afternoon bottle later and see - its a breastmilk bottle and will be about 180ml so he might drink the whole thing or leave some. He always finishes his evening bottle though.
My paed says I can start giving him yogurt, full cream, plain or the kiddies ones that are flavoured and also some soft cheese like laughing cow cheese or kiri cheese. I asked him if its ok to give that before a year since its cows milk but he said its not the same, its not pasteurised like cows milk so its ok to give to him.
I really like my paed, he is Dr Leschner at Olivedale. Does anyone else go to him?
