Eileen, hehehe at the getting up at 1 am.

I can really relate to that - although in my case its baba, not the alarm

TWICE now, Willem woke me up at night - so I LOOK at my bedside clock - SEE its around 3:30 (which is early for his feed, but not too early).
Get up, get the pump, bottle, everything ready (yeah for expressing milk at 3am :S) - start feeding him, just to look at the clock again - and suddenly the time changed to 1:30 :S :(  :S .

Writing it off to exhaustion... SO ready for him to sleep till 7am!

Kerry, funny thing is, when I dropped him off at MIL this morning, he was his usuall happy self - so I told her I hope they get the screaming fits this afternoon, so we can get the sleep tonight
He is always such an angel by them ;)

Lucky you two with losing the weight - I guess the benefits of breastfeeding might have been offset in my case with a love of chocolates  (and being a known chocoholic - everybody seem to buy me some christmas!)

Janine - Phew, glad to see someone with a similar schedule :-) , Well we will see if it works, i assume that her milk will decrease with the added feeds, but i guess thats okay... :-) Will still express the same amount of breastmilk though...

My hubby caught my paed writing fantastic on our chart... lol we were over the moon about it... little things amuse us huh?

Shame man i hope your little one is better soon though... nothing like having a sick child, you want to help them so badly but there really is nothng you can do about it

Mind you Kaelyn did exactly the same last weekend, had a fever, runny poos and was even desperately shoving anything and everything in her mouth, we soo expected to see teeth, but then it all went away again!

I gave her a cube of ice in her fresh food feeder and she was all over it with that faraway look in her eyes... till the ice was gone and then she screamed for more... poor little one!

I have lost all my pregnancy weight and more... i think i was about 6kg lighter than pre-pregnancy within two months... it seems to have slowed now but i must be honest all my work clothes are loose! YAY for breastfeeding! Think i will express for as long as i can huh?

Eileen shame man youre torturing your children :-) LOL i am sure she will be fine, kids seem to find all the energy they need stored up somewhere! but i would love to have seen her face when she looked up at the clock!!!

Kerri, not to worry, Iz isn't crawling either, and by the looks of it, not getting there either.

I'm officially back in my pre-pregnancy holiday wardrobe!!! We went to CT on holiday and I bought a whole new wardrobe for our trip, only to come back prego's. And I gained all my weight within my first trimester. So I got to wear these clothes all of 3 weeks. I bought 34's for our holiday cause I gained a bit of weight after our wedding  so I still need to get back into my 'real' wardrobe :S

We suppose to be having supper at the inlaws....but when I picked up Iz after my torture session, MIL didn't say anything  Hope it's still on, I'm so not lis to cook, and it's ballet tonight till 6.

Hahaha, I taught Abby to set her phone alarm for her to wake up in case I oversleep. So last night she gets an sms at 1 thinking it her alarm, she gets up and start studying. Only later when she came down for a drink, she looked at the clock to realise the time :woohoo: . So she went back to bed and got up again at 4:30 to continue studying. Hopefully the Barocca and Bio Strath helps her through!!!!

Hi Ladies,

Sorry for being MIA - again ;)
I read everyday, but just never seem to get time to post

Willem started out big, but seems to have slowed down now :S Wtill wearing mostly 3-6 month clothing (and some VERY stretchy 0-3 month vests) - he is 70cm and 7.5kg now.

Had him at the paed for 6 month checkup and dr is very happy with him.

Shoo, you all are getting WAY ahead of me with food - I need to step up my schedule a bit

Willem is on veggies now, but only done butternut and gemsquash so far - the carrots are in the fridge, will need to make some time to cook it this week.
We are waiting on the fruit till most the veggies are done.

So far his schedule looks very like Kaelyn's

4:30am breast feed
7:45am cereal - 60ml milk
11am 175ml expressed breast milk
1pm veggies - 2 ice cubes
3pm 175ml expressed breast milk
5pm cereal - 45ml milk
7-7:30pm breast feed

Willem can sit, but still no crawling.

Had a HECTIC week last week.
First he came down with a mild case of (suspected) german measels. His cousin had it, and she is ALL over him every day of the week.... :S
Had it very light though - had to use a magnifying glass to see the rash - if he weren't miseralbe in general - wouldn't even have noticed it.
Had us under house arrest though - since good friend from church (and home cell leader) is about 8 weeks pregnant...

Then came Sunday...
Willem woke up on Sunday with a hectic fever - been boiling hot and listless for the last 3 days - fever only broke completely last night.
Just to spend last night waking up EVERY 2 hours screaming in pain.
End result - Oupa felt and says there seems to be THREE toothies on the way (I felt, but obviously don't know what to feel for  )

So, there is my essay for the week - now I better get back to work :side:

morning ladies!!!

i had such a scare this morning....as i walked in Liam's room (bear in mind that his lights are dimmed)....i saw this little face staring at me over the cot - reminded me of the grudge :S hehehe.

so ja i gave a shout a rather loud one, and only noticed too late that it was liam on his knees in his cot...afterwards it was funny :-)

guess i need to lower his cot to its lowest level now...

last night liam had peas, cauliflower, beetroot and apple my boy polished it all (100ml) and i should add that this was after my boy already had his dinner.

kerry aaww sweet lil K is still so tiny! my boy is over 9kgs and in 12-18month clothes
