just have to share the pics with you....my boytjie is almost crawling!!!

oh wow girly, busy busy busy - don't worry i know what you mean i am starting to feel it too.

every mornings its up at 5 drop k off at grandma's at 5:30 get to work, leave work at 3:30 get to grandmas at about 4:30, home by 5. Cook supper, sterilize bottles feed kaelyn solids, bath Kaelyn get her to bed, eat and go to bed.....

then rinse and repeat.

I know she won't be this demanding forever, but i just am starting to get sooo miserable!

anyhow, havent gotten to the fruits yet, and last night she didn't want to eat her home made purity... and because she didn't eat solids she didn't sleep so nicely...

How was everyone's weekend?
Ours was very busy although I cant recall exactly what we did each day / night? But I didnt get any studying done at all Very happy to have hubby home though.

M2M glad that Jadon is doing better now! We missed you on Saturday.
Liam is too gorge! Cant believe how tiny K looks when with L!
I like the Chelino walker/rocker cos at this stage she cant use it as a walker just uses the surface to stand on which she loves. I dont keep her in there too often though as paed has warned against it. Did you use with Jadon? Did you find any negative to his development?
Lol thats too cute the way hes trying to crawl! I dont think it'll be long for our little ones now! K's almost mastered the leopard crawl now too. Gets very frustrated when she doesnt get it right. She also does lots of flying, lifts both arms and both legs in the air!

I always seem to find out about these competitions too late and then the entries are closed already! You are doing very well with them!

Kerry K's also loving her butternut. Have you tried pear? K loves that too! Got to puree the carrots still so will see how she takes to that, and then I have pear and apple to do too but I hardly get time and I'm exhausted now!

Robyn how did the veggies go? I'm sure she's going to love them

Anyone giving green veggies? When did you introduce them / in what order? And those who mix the veggies now do you actually mix them together or just put both in a bowl?

M2M / anyone else - what yoghurt can you give them? Can you give cows milk yoghurt at 7months? And full cream / fat free? Flavoured / plain with added pieces? Please do share!

I bought K some baby biltong for teething the other day, as she loves watching me eat my biltong. She likes it but it falls on the floor a whole lot! And shes loving her Ollie biscuits as well!

Kerry how is K today? I know what its like when they cry for no apparent reason but appear to be in pain. We also usually give some bennets colic mixture and sometimes some panado. Usually it seems to be wind caught in her chest and when she brings it up she gets better but it can sometimes go on for hours. Poor babies!

Still no work luck. Sending my CV out again this week but I am honestly so tired and rather busy. I will sit down now again but its so late already. Just hope we have a good night.
K went from 6:30 - 5am saturday night and from 7 - 4am last night. Hoping its the start of things to come!

We have booked K's 6 month ECG with the cardiologist for this coming Friday at 12. Have to cancel my massage. I am sure it will be okay but I am really anxious about the outcome. The last time we went into an ECG thinking all was okay it was far from so I really just want this over and done and to know that everything looks good.
Still fighting with medical aid about our first ECG when K was just 4 days old. We left the hospital to have it done at the cardiologist offices as she was having problems with the hospital equipment and now they are fighting saying it wasnt in hospital even though its invoiced like that because it was not included in the hospital file. Its R1800 so a lot of cash for an unemployed person!

I also have to go sign my UIF to confirm that I'm still unemployed and go to the dentist again this week some time.

anycase hi girls, i know its been a while...

i am just so busy with the boys, never a dull moment! (and top that with a full day at the office) i am reading but never find the time to post.

a special hi to jeanne!!! jadon's doing ok, the infection's starting to clear and the meds r helping - my big boy monster had to go for a circum due to medical reasons (i so whish i could spare him the trauma and tears he cried this past week)

ok an update on my lil man Liam's progress, he sits, but only if he supports himself on his arms (my lil monkey). AND still only two toofies

Liam is not in a walking ring, i said this time round i'm gona keep it away for as long as possible if not completely. He is also starting to crawl... in his own way at least. he will get into the typical crawling position, then brings the legs closer one by one and then hehehe he just let both arms go in almost a dive like action LOL it is so funny, he looks like a lil worm, but still he manages to move forward without hurting himself to much....one of these days the cross body coordination skills will hopefully kick in.

re food: he is on 600ml formula and 150ml rooibos tea;
he loves cereal, yoghurt and home made purity. and yesterday he had a piece of chicken in one of those mesh bagg thingies. he enjoyed that a lot!! sucking the poor chicken dry hehehe

JanineK - isn't it amazing how when it comes to our little ones everyone knows better than you? it just amazes me how many people don't respect that it's the mothers choice and not theirs!
Anyhow hope you come righr with her!
