Girly - I'll try sleeping more upright as well, but I really hate it.
Yes, from Thurs I'll see my doc every 2wks (although it'll only be 3 more visits!)

I turned 30 in June and got married in Dec 08, so we've also had the constant 'baby' banter (we started dating in 2000)

Girly i second that "Is it Home time yet" i cannot keep my eyes open, my energy is so low, baba is kicking me under my ribs i cannot walk baby is way down now its quite sore.

I sleep like a log when i hit the bed but after one bathroom break i cannot go back to sleep i stay away the whole night and only dose of in the wee hours of the morning.

Is anyone else itching or is it just me.

Just one more week and then i am on leave i cannot wait.

Must keep eyes open ZZzzzzzzzz....

My moms knitting a sleep sack, it's very very cute, but bless her heart i don't see her finishing in time and it's newborn size too... ah well, maybe i'll finish it myself if time gets too close? Hey i can scan and show you the pic, that way if you like it you can show it to MIL and get her to knit it...

Born in January 1983... 27 if my maths is okay today? Got married in November 2008 so everyone was waiting for us to get on with it already, especially since we started dating in 1999 already.

I am techically due on the 25the from LMP calc and then the doc was originally using the 30th to be safe... so i though hell the 13th is more than enough time... LOL boy oh boy...

But you see i thought i would be nice to my colleagues... we have three employees away till august... two are seconded to a client and ones on maternity leave... so we are all swamped covering their work for them, i didn't want to add to it, even though no one minds at all. So i thought if they are back 1 August i'd give everyone as much of a breather as i can and try get all my August things done before i go...

My manageress is now stressing that i am going to drop the baby here... I can always take more annual leave before i go if need be...

Kerry same with us! Really sweet how the grandparents are hey! We are so blessed. Shame MIL LOVES to knit, but I had to ask very nicely for specific types of knits only, cos I'm not fond of pullovers, can only see myself using knitted 'jackets' with buttons. She's been so good about it all.

How old r u? I'm 28 (29 in Nov) and married 7 yrs.
I'm due 24th, but she's been a week 'behind' as far as length and head size. Doc says its no indication of her arriving late though, only that she'll be slightly smaller, but still a good size - 3.3 / 3.4kgs at full term.

Why oh why are you working so late? I have 2 weeks left & can't wait for it to end! I'm so tired.

Re the throwing up - I think its reflux. I get it too, but 'stop' it just in time. Awful though as it comes so unexpected and I dont feel nauseous at the time.
I'm gonna try sleeping more upright tonight, use my pregnancy pillow to support me. Hope it'll help, cos 4hrs sleep a night waking up every 30mins not cool when you dont even have a baby to feed or change.

One day/week closer to meeting out precious LO's!

The nursery is almost finished, hubby put in the wooden floor yesterday, so only the border left!

Went to design the compactum on saturday, now patiently (yah whatever) waiting for the quote so they can start building it.

Now that the maintenance court case is over (postponed till September) I can start looking forward to our next gynae appointment on Thursday and BS on Saturday!

God works in such wonderful ways! This morning at court, 2 of my friends were also there for maintenance cases. We had such a nice giggle throughout...only difference they were the ones suing....not like me being sued.

And again my theory rings true....a hitman is much more effective than a divorce lawyer...no comebacks!

I am feeling SOOOO much better the past few days, I have been on a diabetic diet since my results came back for gestational diabetics. And feel like a different person. Yes, I have my aches and pains, but I have much more energy.

Went out for supper on Fri with DH and the inlaws, had my parents over for dinner on Sat and then DH & I spent the entire day in bed yesterday - BLISS

Kerry - I see you are also dual month forum (Aug & Sept) - since I'm due 31 Aug, I def need to be on both!

I'm also really struggling with sleep now - bubs is not waking me up at night and I don't need to go to the loo during the night. I also sleep with a pillow between my knees and one under my tummy - but do you think I can sleep??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I toss and turn constantly, just can't get comfortable
Plus (sorry, this is probably TMI!) but I have now twice gotten sick while I'm sleeping and swallowed!
I don't feel nauseous or anything, just don't know what to do - try sleep with another pillow maybe?? Is that from heartburn?

Morning Moms,

Girly, im suffering just like you, bad bad heartburn at night i cant lie down, plus the insomnia seems to be everynight. I eventually fall asleep around 3ish in the morning and mind me that sitting up.

Went to Doc on Friday, baby weighs 2.6kg's and she has nice fat lips and cheeks. Cant believe how much shes picked up.My son weighed 2.2kgs at birth so shes a big one.
He says that she will be a 38 week baby as she in engaged and dropped fully. His warned me too take it easy.

Last night i actually ended up crying cos i had such bad cramps and my body is really sore. only going on leave the 5th August but ya i will see how things go.

My baby shower is this Saturday, so excited cant wait.

Hope all momies are doing well
