Sorry for being MIA!

I'm already at home, stopped working on Fri last week! It is great to be at home! Resting a lot and doing things i don't get time for!!

Went to the doc yesterday for my 36wk update!!
Doc is very happy with everything! Armand is weighing 2.9kg's! He is very healthy and I praise God for it!! He already went into the kanaal with his head.... He is just laying facing upwards instead of downwards.. Please pray that he'll turn

All ok with me too!! She said that she'll still monitor me and luckily my appointments is weekly now!! If he comes now, he'll be ok and no NICU! But still I hope he stays till after 37wks!!

Can not believe how time flies!!! 36wks already / 9months!!!!

All glory to GOD for keeping me and Armand safe!!! He is FAITHFUL and WONDERFUL!

I got the Bright Starts Pink swing. It's the only swing I could get in SA which is pink. I badly wanted the Fisher Price Papasan Butterfly swing, but no one would ship to SA. Even Graco has the most gorgeous ranges in pink....but only available in USA. I literally tried everything to get it here. Finally I gave up and stumbled across the Bright Starts pink swing!

Maybe I'll go with a cheapy for the camp cot & changing station then.

I am going to buy a square donut when little girly is a few months older, rather than a play mat. And can just use the cot mobile then.

Robyn where'd you get the stickers??? It's the one thing I cant find. And I dont want to order online where I'd pay R250 for it.

Eileen ah yes I forgot. A colleague lives in Rbay and they go away for weekends to durban to stock up on certain types of things.
It might be cheaper to have them ordered & couriered to you?
I would not survive the humidity of Natal. Been to Dubai & Singapore, and its unbearable. I guess ecverything is airconditioned though.

Shew what a headache I have. I still have to put together stuff for the labour consultant meeting at work tomorrow, but my mind is not far from in it now and we are out tonight.

girly they are removable, BUT they are heavy and it is a lil bit of a mission to attach to the camp cot. but it can be done, i did it and my poor campcot still shows the evidence of 3years ago hehehe

a cheapy would be better on a camp cot. the tiny love ones are expensive (mine was over R500 3 years ago ) but worth it. i enjoyed mine....but there is some days that i think a normal cheapy would suffice.

shame Eileen, i feel your pain! I know the weather up there - and the good old memories of natal north coast school holidays...

I got the cot net from Baby City (about R300)
The mobile is removable, but the best part is that you can remove the 'mobile' part (with the hanging toys) and just use the night light & music part. The only thing is that it will probably be too heavy for the camp cot and it needs the space between the cot bars to be held in place, so will only work with the cot. Maybe get a cheaper, smaller one for the camp cot (or even perhaps a pram/car seat portable arch rather?)

Eileen - I also like the Tiny Love 'Tiny Princess' range but have decided to get the Bright Starts 'Pretty in Pink' play mat rather than the TL playmat - it's more expensive but the sides are much more sturdy (to prevent bubs rolling off) and it has more options/toys etc
(the TL mat is about R700-R800, the BS mat is about R900 form Baby City)

Girly, we stay in Richardsbay. We have 2 seasons...hell (Aug-March) and Summer (Apr-July)...winter is about the 14 & 15th of July.

We are 'big' shop challenged! Have to drive to Durban for nice baby things.

I'm a Tiny Love fan! We got the pram mobile, and will be getting the cot mobile and playmat once we hit Durban again. All in pink off course. But they are a bit pricey though.

Girly, I know how u feel about the work situation...was in the same boat about 2 years ago. God provided a new job 1 day after I heard of the impending retrenchment. Though I hated the new job for the 1st 6 months.

Just had an emotional breakdown...my mom's car just got stolen. And with my hormones being out of whack, balled my eyes out.

The cotmobile - is it removable? Cos Id want it first for the camp cot, and then move to the wooden cot once she is out of our room.

I saw cheapish removable mobiles for under R200 at Game on Saturday.
