I need help!

Just came from the gynae. My glucose levels is once again too high. I have to be go for some tests tomorow. But now doc said I must go on the same diet as diabetics! Any of you know what you can and can't eat?

Izibella weighs 1945grams. But we didn't get any scan pics, as there isn't enough water.

Ai, I HATE needles.

This week is taking so loooong....!!!
Wish it was Fri afternoon already!

I'm going to do my registry at Baby City on Sat - really looking forward to it (shopping without paying - what could be better than that!!)

Then I need to get my ass in gear and get my hospital bag ready (I've probably got most of the things already but just need to get them together) I'm just concerned about the feeding bras cos I'm still wearing my old bras - boobs haven't grown much so really don't know what size to get!

And it's my mom's b'day, so we are having a lovely sunday lunch (oxtail - mmmmmmm)

I'm normally quite the night-owl but last night I fell asleep before the soccer!!!
But I wanted Germany to win, so glad I didn't stay up to watch them lose

Oh, it's always a struggle to get up in the mornings - esp since DH works really close to home, so gets up at 07h45 and I need to leave by 08h00 (and it takes about an hour to get ready

I'm sooooo looking forward to ML (before baba)
so I can sleep, sleeeeep, sleeeeeeeeeeeep

Jeanine lol I'm the same with surprises. But when ppl make plans for other weekends you kinda get an idea of whenit is. So either I'm super smart, or they are and I'll be totally surprised! Looking forward though cos I need to pack my hospital bag and want to go buy the rest of what I still need before ML starts.

Eileen I contemplated it for years and one day I just did it! Its sore- dont get me wrong. But pain goes away quickly, and not having to shave for 3-4 weeks hmmm
Ouch re the car! We have 2. Also work far away from each other and different hours. Wouldnt cope with just one. To think when we got married we had none! I used public transport, DH worked from home. We saved cash for our first car, a citi golf. Sold that now this year when we upgraded our family car.

I am dying to know how Kaylee is lying now, and her weight.

Enjoyed antenatal class so much! We did the breastfeeding one, and made me feel a lot more at ease. She runs a breastfeeding clinic and does house calls too. So I recon I have to find R500 odd to fit into my budget for the first 2 months.

34 weeks (and 3 days )

Always looks bigger without "cover"

I have NO idea how we gonna juggle the one car idea!

We have different working hours and I have to drop my girls off at school, and then fetch them again at 5 or from Ballet.

And I am so not coming into work earlier!!!!!!

Luckily the distances and traffic isn't that bad...Richardsbay don't really have traffic. And everything is within a 10km range.

J, sorry to hear bout the theft. Such an inconvenience, especially at a time when money is rather spent on baba.

Wish I had such a nice "reason" for needing to know.
But I've got my suspicions.
My mom is away this weekend, and I'm away in two weeks time. So unless they want to risk having it after baba is here, I suspect next weekend.

And last night MIL mentioned that she wants to organize a "shopping trip" for the two of us ...

I know how you feel with sharing vehicles. Some !@&%@# decided to steal Hubby's scooter last weekend.
Usually he would have asked his dad for lifts (they stay next door ), but they were on holiday, only came back yesterday!
Luckily his boss has a spare "company car", and they are allowing him to use it during the week.

As for calls during ML, I'm preparing for a LOT. I'm the only person that can do about 75% of my work.
I only have 4 weeks left, and I still have a lot outstanding before I go, so not really time for training - plus the person I would train, well, lets just say I would need to draw LOTS of pictures ...
So best I can do is leave lots of clear, written instructions, and hope my manager can handle most of it...
